Akanksha asks " We are considering a reception where we dont have a stage and the couple mingles around with the crowd. But will this be rude as guests generally are used to coming on a stage, getting a photo clicked etc? Also will our pictures be compromised if there is no backdrop of a stage " Our thoughts: "Akanksha, a floating reception without a stage is a GREAT idea. Not only does the couple enjoy it more but you can keep a few elements like a photobooth on the side which guests can flock to for pictures instead of having a formal stage setup. We don't think its rude at all and lets face it. This day is more about you and less about your guests- we say keep the stage to a minimum and mingle around with your guests! You could have a small stage but keep that just for a live band or something like that. You dont have to worry about photos if your photog is good. Ideally, get couple shots clicked before the event begins against a beautiful backdrop and keep the rest of the pictures natural and around your photobooth"
