What we loved about this wedding was that while there was a lot of inspiration from Pinterest- the couple added their own creativity to it and made it even better! Alisha and Lakshay's wedding was a riot of colours - right from the outfits to the decor. You wouldn't believe it if we told you rain played spoilt-sport on their wedding, and a lot of things had to be redone and worked around the weather. But thanks to their amazing and dependable planners, THE DEW CO , the couple managed to pull off their pretty wedding perfectly.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on February 1, 2024. I mixed inspiration from Pinterest with my own style. I incorporated a lot pastels for day functions. I kept the cocktail party full of mirrors and corners that had photo booths. Haldi had a fresh colour palette of blues and yellow to go with our lush green location. Mehndi had everything pink and white. I tried staying away from traditional colour palettes for each function.

Wedding Planning: The DEW CO
Saakshi and Sunil did such an amazing job, specially when our venue was completely damaged by the rain, they managed to fit everything inside the hall in a very short amount of time. Anything we needed was done on priority and anything we didn't like was changed or not charged to us (within reason). We have so many weddings in our family coming up, would 100% book again.
DEW did most of the decor. haldi, cocktail and wedding. We did many meetings to make sure we landed on what was achievable and looked amazing.
Venue: The Palace, Ramgarh
The arrangement inside was great but on the day of our wedding it rained heavily and we had to shift all of our arrangements inside the hall that was meant for the food only. The venue did not provide us of any discounts despite of not being able to use 80% of the venue. it was a disheartening experience. The tenting should be waterproofed, just to avoid these issues.
Makeup Artist: Nav Brar
Amazing, super professional and warm at the same time. absolutely loved working with her.
Upasnaa - we had some issues regarding feedback and she didn't take them lightly, ended up canceling my mother's makeup appointment over it. My makeup was good but my mood was ruined over that and being a bride that's the last thing you want to worry about.

Abhit is such a delight to work with, he made sure we got all the shots we wanted. he helped us edit our wedding video till we loved it. we would have loved some content being shot in vertical format so we could use it on Instagram reels though.
Bridal Outfits:

The outfit was an instant yes, they make sure you love it at your final trial or change anything you don't like. the team Is warm and the designs are fresh and the price range justifies the design and work being put into the piece.
Wedding - Frontier Raas Delhi
The sales person knew exactly what I wanted the second time around, When I went for my trousseau shopping. the lehenga came on time and since we had customised another dupatta that didn't come as we expected, they took it back and sent me a new one. that took sometime , but it was delivered to my home.
Mehendi Artist: KP Mehndi Artist
Due to the rain he came 3 hours late from Delhi. The design was great, but during the mehndi I asked him 3-4 times to hide the name of the groom. He forgot and when I called him to come back he said it's too late now. Overall, he was quick but not efficient or on time.
Other Vendors
Royal Occasion Events did the decor for the bride's home and all functions at home. Sahil did such good work, the quality was impeccable. he matched my vision exactly. he provided me with fresh carpets, furniture, and even backdrops accordingly. I love fresh flowers, Sahil delivered on that as well, every 2 days the flowers were changed and new arrangements were kept. He is super innovative and can work with big or small budgets but won't compromise on quality.
Bulan by Mannat Vij - We had potlis made for our guests, mannat did beautiful work and delivered exactly on time. I look forward to working with her again.
Spartans for Bar - Very cute and innovative drinkware, good quality drinks, and professional bartenders.
