Love a wedding that comes with a super cute love story! Kanupriya and Sahil met on a train, which definitely did remind us of 'Jab We Met'! They had a happy and colourful destination wedding in Jaipur, and each and every event was vibrant! Looked like a hoot, and we loved how the bride pulled off some pretty picks at every function. Special shoutout to the team at Happyframes , who did a fabulous job in capturing the craziness to perfection!
Meet Kanupriya and Sahil
We met on a train that was headed to Goa. We both were going for the finale of Channel V fest and we bumped into each other in the train that had all college students from all over Delhi! Vibe was amazing Spent 2 days chilling and talking. Trip went by and we never stopped talking!

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on January 22, 2023. Always wanted a Regal affair, so we chose Samode Palace for its richness in culture and heritage. Our wedding was all about experiencing the wedding in its classic form.
Mehndi was vibrant and had a Rajasthani touch to it with folk dancers, local food and colorful umbrellas. Cocktail was set with the backdrop of the palace façade. It felt like a fairytale when both of us walked down the palace stairs and everyone was down there to receive us. We exchanged our rings and then the event turned into a music & dance festival! Haldi was at the infinity pool with the view of the hills. The wedding was a royal affair and the venues were divided into 2 parts.
Varmala took place at the palace courtyard. Everyone was just teary eyes as it felt like a movie scene from one of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films!
Later the pheras took place at the marble poolside. Theme was royal red with grand mashals lit everywhere and live santoor playing in the background. Post the wedding there were speeches and a crazy after party!

I did use the WedMeGood App! It helped with almost all my shortlistings.
Vendor Reviews
Photography: Happyframes
Really really really happy with Happyframes. Right from the brief to the execution part of it, I think every detail was kept in mind and was remembered and executed perfectly which is very important. When you get busy with all the wedding work, you don't want to have the responsibility of time and again explaining to your one of the important vendors to execute a certain way. We had one phone call before the wedding and after that everything was handled by the team very well. I think they were also very persistent with the interviews they had to take, they were making sure that all the shots were taken. So even if you don't have time, they make sure to cover everything so that you don't regret later because photos are most important memories you take back from an event. Very very happy with that. After the entire wedding coverage, the way they executed all the reels, I think all of them got viral also, so I am sure it's not just me but people love their work. The way they created a whole story in small reels and the trailer part of it and the angles that they have taken, everything is covered very very beautifully and what else do you need if the most special event of your life has been captured in its authenticity and entirety, that all you need.
Wedding Planning: The Diaries
They were just amazing. They managed the whole wedding in such a smooth way. There were no glitches. The décor was also handled by the event planner and was so detailed and complimented the palatial setting!
