Vibrant Anand Karaj in Delhi

We have had our fair share of floral jewellery moments at Mehendis, but this one is possibly our favourite. Kept at a minimal with a beautiful kamarbandh, earrings and a bracelet, the unique color really pops against the brides lovely mehendi outfit. Speaking of mehendis, these two had nail artists along with Mehendi artists to entertain the guests and a bride who claims she couldn't get off the dance floor .With her doli in a vintage car, and some beautiful shots against the pristine white gurudwara, this bride and groom have eyes only for each other !
Meet Sukhna and Shammi
Sukhna says "So Shammi and I met during our school days and our relationship dates back to the year 2007. . Our story is quite filmy , with a lot of action and drama and rebellion. Typical story of girl meets boy through common friends and the moment they decide to give their relationship a name deeper than friendship, the parents get to know! Then runs the roller coaster ride of break up-patch up- family drama- emotional attyachaar and in the end love conquers all and surprisingly everybody agrees and happily at that"
The Mehendi
Love the floral jewellery (vendor details at the end) how the grooms powder blue turban matches with her blouse
The Wedding

From the bride:
Both of us being the eldest in our respective families, the wedding was a dream come true for both our families and ours was the first wedding on either side and hence everybody put in their best to make it grand. The vision was to have a wedding that would be exciting and fun not only for others but also for both of us.
The only aim I personally had was to enjoy each and every function to the fullest and so i was the bride who was always on the floor, dancing and celebrating the occasion. Each and every little thing had a personal touch, from selecting the flowers for decoration to wrapping the gifts. Shammi and i ourselves took over most of the planning and everything was done together, so there was no my side and your side... it was just US and our marriage...
While the vision for the engagement was to have a glamorous event, the mehendi was planned to be a bright, colourful and personal .The Wedding was planned to be like a fairytale one, with pink and crystal spreading their cheer around under the magic of what a day-time Anand Karaj unfolds.. and the reception again was a special gathering to wrap up the celebration of the wedding and raise a toast to the life ahead.. everything beamed in gold under the moonlight as our decorator ensured that white and gold rule the colour scheme.
