Trending: Now Make Your Dupatta Your Jewellery, Inspired By Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding Look!

There can NOT be a wedding film that we don’t binge watch. Come on, it comes with the job! This year, Veere Di Wedding has officially been the biggest wedding so far in tinsel town! And we have taken home a truckload of trends from the film. (You know we have been telling you all about them all this while.)

Now here is a new trend from the film that our hawk-eyes spotted! What if we tell you you can kiss goodbye to heavy jewelry and just wear your dupatta as a statement piece for the next wedding you attend?

Well, that’s what Sonam did and her look was ALL OVER INSTAGRAM!

For the finale wedding scene, Sonam wore a custom Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla★ 4.6  lehenga in pastel hues with a pearly blouse and looked like the quintessential bridesmaid. But more than her timeless lehenga, the talking point was her dupatta that had glass-like tassels.

Tassels on dupattas aren't new and we have all had them on our dupatta hems. But for Sonam's look, these tassels were stitched not just on the ends, but along the borders in the middle so they could substitute as a choker on the neck! Paired with minimal jewelry, and your look is complete.  Now that is called smart designing, isn't it?

Sonam pulled an almost-similar looking trend for the Sangeet segment of the film also wherein her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga had a bikini blouse with a Chinese collar that at first glance could look like a shimmery choker!
