Sonam & Ayush's Gurgaon wedding was a mixture of traditional attire and contemporary feels. From fairy light decor at engagement to a florals dominating the wedding, their decor definitely was pin-worthy. When it came to the outfits Sonam wore, it was again an eqaul mix of silhouettes. She wore a beautiful sequinned kaftan at her mehendi and we feel it can be a game changer for day mehendis in winters. She paired it up with floral kaleeras, a trend that is here to stay. And then, for her wedding, Sonam went down the traditional route. She opted for a classic red bridal lehenga, and proved it yet again that red is always going to a favourite with brides.
We loved the details at their celebrations, from decor elements to Sonam's bridal wardrobe - everything was inspirational and pin-worthy.

From The Bride:
We wanted our wedding to be just with our closed ones that includes our family and very close friends. We personally wanted only those people in our wedding who are actually happy being part of our big day. Even before covid we wanted our wedding to be attended by only maximum of 100 people including the vendors team. Another specific thing which I wanted was to have my mandap either at the beach or in between the water or pool (any water body was ok with me ?). But due to this covid we could not go for Goa wedding and have to do it in NCR only. But my husband made sure that the venue should have a water body so we choose The Roseate as our wedding venue.
Vendor Reviews:
Venue: Mehendi, Engagement, Haldi - Taj City Centre, Gurugram; Wedding - The Roseate
Things can never go wrong if you are choosing Taj for your wedding even for stay. The food was delicious and the staff kept a regular check for all the sanitisation process. They really made all our guests comfortable. We choose Roseate for its outstanding architecture and for the water body on which we had our stage and mandap and nonetheless their food is super delicious. Roseate is been always a go to place on my list for any celebration. And they delivered the same on our big day.
Makeup Artist: Reva
Since me and my mom both are makeup artist it was very difficult for us to decide but Reva made was outstanding with her work she’s super fun and brings out the best in her brides.
Planners: Mistique Events
They were the best one could have asked for their wedding. They delivered more then we expected and really made our wedding a fairy tale. All the events were given equally detailed decoration as we discussed and it really came out beautiful in all terms. The team really made extra efforts to make all our guests comfortable and be available at any point of time.
