Meet Aashna and Raunak

Our journey together traces back to our school days in Hyderabad, where as fellow students, we shared the same corridors and classrooms, fostering the growth of a multitude of common friendships. We started dating in 9th grade. Despite the challenges of distance, our commitment endured when Raunak pursued his engineering degree in Manipal, and Aashna pursued her design degree at NIFT Hyderabad.

From The Bride: 

Our wedding took place on 5th January, 2023. An inter-caste union between the Gujarati and Sindhi communities brought about a harmonious wedding celebration. The festivities artfully blended the customs of both traditions, symbolizing the unity of two families joining through this special occasion, while honoring and cherishing their unique backgrounds.

The wedding celebrations were a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary aesthetics. The haldi ceremony featured pottery-inspired decor with gentle orange and peach tones against a forest backdrop. The mehendi soirée created a boho wonderland with pastels, live music, and vibrant photobooths. The sangeet was an enchanting night with lush foliage, a dance floor-stage combo, and custom cocktails. The wedding mandap, adorned with pastels and flowers, transitioned seamlessly into the reception, maintaining a consistent and beautiful ambiance throughout the festivities.
