This Couple's Engagement Shoot In Udaipur Is As Dreamy As It Gets!

Manchal and Luca are all set to have not one, but two weddings in 2024. The cross-culture couple, with the groom being Lebanese and the bride being Indian got engaged in Sydney, but decided to have an engagement shoot in Udaipur on their maiden visit to India. And what a pretty shoot it was! From the glam outfits they wore (lusting over the white applique saree!) to the whole vibe of the shoot, everything was spot on, and definitely beautiful- take cues if you would love to have an engagement shoot to celebrate the moment.

Meet Manchal and Luca

Our meet-cute was the most unexpected but very much out of a rom-com.
We were both sitting with our friends at the opposite ends of a bar, having a laugh with our groups; when all of a sudden my friend leans in and tells me there's a handsome stranger staring at me across the the room. I look up and we make eye contact - after a few hours of coy glimpses and shy smiles, Luca eventually made his way to our group of loud girls (by himself may I add!) - and introduced himself! The rest is history and our love story continues...

From The Bride:

This was from our maiden trip to India - while we were there, we collaborated with Bridelan India for a shoot to celebrate our engagement. Luca's ethnic background is Lebanese/Italian - so we're doing 2 weddings. We're doing a Lebanese/Italian wedding in Sydney April 2024, and our 3 day Big Fat Indian wedding in November 2024 (on my parents 22 acre country estate in Queensland, Australia).

Working with Nisha was awesome - I had followed Bridelan for the longest time on Instagram, the imagery and styling always resonated with my personal aesthetic. Nisha did such an amazing job styling our engagement shoot, with her the vision and execution - we're so happy she reached out. Nisha ensured the shoot went seamlessly, and styled us to perfection. We're so happy we opted for this and now have these photos forever! 

Makeup and Hair: Tashi Dolma and Sachi Agarwal 

Tashi and Sachi were so lovely and so kind throughout the process - They made me feel beautiful (even when I was recovering from a fever). They kept my spirits up (we were giggling all day) and did such a wonderful job on my makeup and hair - we did 3 looks and they were so quick to turn them around, and every look was different and unique. They listened to me around what I liked as well, and what I was comfortable! Both Tashi and Sachi were an absolute delight!
