Filled with vibrant colors, some music and roars of laughter - a wedding is essentially the celebration of two souls in love. When a couple decides to take the plunge and be together forever, they're joined by their loved ones to celebrate the beginning of their priceless journey together. But sometimes the vanity attached with the whole shebang of 'band baaja baaraat' ends up overpowering the actual essence of a shaadi. So more and more millennial duos are opting for super intimate ceremonies and we're here for it!
Harleen and Aum had a home wedding at the bride's residence in Ahmedabad with 20 guests. It was a celebration filled with love, candles, photographs and some impeccably pretty floral arrangements. What made it all even more special is how Harleen held the photographs of her parents, ensuring they were a part of her big day festivities. She beamed in a simple but beautiful red saree and her bridesmaids cheered her on as she said, 'I do' to the love of her life!

"He is the best thing that happened to me. We waited for a very long time to finally be together. We made a spontaneous plan and decided to commemorate our relationship with just 20 people, his family, our friends and my Mamaji," shares the bride.
The Wedding
From The Bride:
We got married on 22nd August. We wanted an intimate home court wedding at my residence. I wanted it to be minimal, personal and just in the presence of our close friends and family. We just had a week to plan, shop and prepare for the wedding. On a Monday morning, over a brunch with a few of our people, we got married, danced our heart out, exchanged varmalas and celebrated the most special day of our lives. We got married at my private home in Ahmedabad. I guess that's the most happy place to get married at. I opted for a minimal look and a gleaming red saree. It turned out to be exactly how I had imagined it to look like.

We spoke a week before, had just one quick meeting, told her how I wanted everything to be minimal, happy and still personal. I told her I am wearing a red saree and she paired up every corner of my home with red florals, wild florals and candles and there it was!
