We love a sustainable queen! And what better occasion than your own wedding to wear something vintage and beautiful? Real Bride Nazm chose to wear her mother's bridal outfit on her own special day, and we think it's such a beautiful thought and look on her! Not just that, she rocked some amazing looks apart from her bridal look too, and the wedding looked like an absolute blast. Loving the inspiration this pretty Chandigarh is oozing!
Meet Nazm and Ranjot
We met at a wedding in 2022 for which I had flown to India from Australia and shortly afterwards I left back for Australia. We started chatting and clicked instantly. I later learned that my husband had known me for around 7 years but was too shy to make a move as we grew up in the same city, Chandigarh. In April 2023 I flew back to India to meet him and he asked me to marry him with an out of the blue, beautifully planned proposal.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on February 11, 2024. Well I planned the wedding entirely from a different continent and the WedMeGood App really helped. My vision of the wedding was for it to be tasteful as well as iconic. I decided to wear a lehenga only for the wedding day and planned completely different looks and themes for my engagement, Chunni, cocktail, Haldi, and mehendi. For my engagement we had a sufi theme where we had qawaals, ittr, and jasmine flower bracelets as few of the props. The Chunni ceremony was a very traditional look with big statement earrings. The cocktail was an iconic Dolly J dress while my husband wore a tux and we had RDB perform with so much energy. The Haldi was a 70s Bollywood look with a knee length skirt and off shoulder choli. The mehendi outfit was a Papa Don’t Preach mermaid dress with big gold earrings. On the wedding day I wore my mom's own wedding outfit which is 35 years old! We had friends and family from all over the world so we wanted them to experience a whole lot of different emotions at every event.
About The WedMeGood App
Oh yes! It is the best App ever! I was saved by the wedding checklist. It genuinely kept me sane as I was in a different continent altogether. Im actually a checklist person so this feature was my guiding light and saviour. I wouldn’t know where to begin from if it wasn’t for the Wedmegood App!
