This Bride Bought Her Mehendi Outfit From ZARA!

BY Apoorva | 06 Jun, 2022 | 2501 views | 3 min read

We love brides who do pick or design something unique for their own bridal look. And this bride did both! Say hello to our real bride Jeevika who designed her sangeet outfit and picked up her mehendi outfit from Zara. Can you believe it? To top that – she also got her haldi outfit stitched locally. Keep reading and we’ll spill more!

Haldi Look

For the haldi, she got this easy-breezy sunflower yellow co-ord set made. A sleeveless kurta with matching tulip pants was a perfect haldi outfit. She took it up a notch by styling the entire look with a dash of shimmer and sparkle. We love the silver headband, stacked up gold bangles and the fun bridal hair accessories at the back! Went makeup free and also perfectly co-ordinated with the groom.

Mehendi Look From Zara

Who doesn’t like Zara? Add a little sequin to it and we are in love. Jeevika picked up this burgundy peplum style top with matching sequin pants. We love it! The one shoulder style made it easy for mehendi application plus its an outfit that you can re-wear anytime. She styled it with a single mangtika – giving it that dash of tradition and paired neon block heels that looked so fun.

Don’t miss the groom in a matching silver sequin dungaree – so suave!

Sangeet Look, Self Designed

Jeevika went with a chic and glam slate grey lehenga with a tiered style blouse. We loved the tassel earrings that gave such a statement touch to the look.

Jeevika says

"I once attended a wedding where the bride couldn't move and refused to move because her outfit was so heavy. So I set out to find outfits that were relaxed and easy to wear. I didn't have any apprehensions like it needs to be a certain designer etc. I knew all of them needed to be light. I got Haldi outfits stitched. Wore Zara for my Mehendi because it’s my favourite everyday brand. It kind of shocked everyone. But it was real. Designed my own Sangeet outfit. For which I had a Coachella look in mind. Free-floating hippie. I had no pressure or stress from both sides of the family to be a certain way. So all the looks were exactly what I wanted. We ran out of time for our pool party but wore Swimwear we bought online. My heels were from all over based on comfort – Steve Madden, DKNY to regular juttis!"

We so agree with this fun and comfort vibe that this bride donned. She wore a dreamy Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding in the most gorgeous hue – check out Jeevika and Aryan's full wedding here!
