- Decor that was pin-worthy
- A bridal look which was inspiration-worthy
- Photos that were ogle-worthy
This Bangalore wedding was all things gorgeous! Monika and Pradeep had their wedding at Tamarind Tree- a beautiful venue which did not need a lot more to look stunning- but the decor by Wedlock Weddings by Vima which was loaded with florals and greenery had us at hello! It all added to the charm of this cross-culture wedding- scroll down to be awed.
Meet Monika and Pradeep
We met while pursuing masters degree at Duke University, Durham, USA.
Mehendi
Wedding
Reception
From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on February 12, 2023. We wanted a traditional South Indian wedding. Outdoor, calm and lots of white and light. I had imagined it to be with rajnigandha flowers, my wedding decorator suggested I use yellow to match our white and gold theme. I couldn’t be more thankful to her. For the reception I wanted a contrast with red and black. Some music in the background and lots of lights and chandeliers.
One suggestion I have for brides is to get the bridal mehendi done the day before actual mehendi party as it gives you and your mehendi artist time to relax and do the job. I followed this and it was one of the best decisions I took.
About The WedMeGood App
I used the WedMeGood App to find all my vendors and get some ideas on how my wedding should look. Their checklist was very helpful to ensure we were not missing anything essential.
Vendor Reviews
Photography: Deepak Vijay Photography
Deepak and his team really captured the best moments of the wedding. They do a fantastic job of understanding your requirements. My husband is super camera shy, Deepak’s team were very friendly and took extra care to make us feel comfortable through the shoot.
Venue: The Tamarind Tree, Bangalore
The venue was love at first sight for us. It is beautiful and very well maintained. The venue employees were super friendly and supportive throughout the process. The stay at the is one of a kind experience.
Makeup Artists:
Mehendi and Reception: Anurita Chandrappa
Anurita is very very good with make up. She is not scared of experimenting and she makes you feel so confident. She gave me a floral braid for my mehendi that I totally loved.
Wedding and Reception: Ralph Daniels
Ralph is a magician. Very professional and extremely talented. I just told him do what suits me and he did the rest.
Wedding Coordinator: The Tales Of Tradition
The tales of tradition was my wedding coordinator. Jeevan Jyothi worked with us closely on guest and vendor coordination and she was truly a savior. I had too many last minute tasks and things to plan/buy. She did it all with so much ease. My husband and I think, we could not have enjoyed the wedding if she didn’t do all the hard work she did. I would highly recommend this team.
Decor: Wedlock by Vima
Vima’s process is very well structured from the very beginning. She asked me for my vision, got back with designs and options , worked with me on the changes. I met with Ann from her team who gave more ideas. They helped me in every step. Execution was simply the best. It was done with so much precision and attention to detail . All my guests praised it so much.
