It's all about destiny! There are so many things about this wedding that would make you believe so! Rasneet and Shrey have a love story that seems right out of a K Jo movie! They connected on a dating app and then realized they had a long-lost connection. Their gorgeous wedding was sealed at the glorious Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai this January. Having dreamt of a destination wedding in Mussoorie and having all the arrangements made, the couple pulled out all the plugs when they had to postpone their wedding indefinitely due to the pandemic and switch their location to Mumbai. But Castles and Coasters did a fabulous job with the planning, and the photos by Sam & Ekta captured all the beauty of this pastel-themed wedding.
Meet Rasneet and Shrey
The lovebirds were truly meant for each other, connected for over a decade through different occasions, blessed with togetherness. Kicking off their partnership in 2004 on a tour-guided group vacation to Australia and New Zealand, the two made initial contact only to lose touch right after. Shrey’s cousin attended the same college as Rasneet and she went on to attend all his birthday celebrations at the family home, but Shrey never happened to be around for some reason or another. Alas, in 2018, when the two connected on the Hinge app and Shrey begged to meet Rasneet’s dog, they finally sat across from a table realising that they’d met each other before. Before they knew it, they uncovered their long-lost connection, and the rest is history.

About The Wedding
Castles and Coasters tell us, "The duo kicked off their grand celebration with a haldi and mehendi ceremony combined, and it was all yellow. The venue was adorned with marigolds all over, and fun games were organised for the guests, setting the mood for an elaborate afternoon drunch. Complimenting the shades of the decor that exuded sunshine and brightness, Rasneet donned a bright lime green lehenga to complete the look. That evening, the couple and their families enjoyed the night away at the sangeet ceremony, where Rasneet lit up everyone’s lives with her quintessential bling lehenga."
"The following day, the duplet was certain that they wanted a dreamy day wedding embellished with hues of pastel, making for a warm and subtle yet gorgeous and picturesque mandap, where the two kept their looks very traditional and close to their roots. The commemoration drew towards an end with the reception that Rasneet and Shrey had dreamt of, emulating a night under the stars. Indeed, it turned out to be a starry affair as the couple added Western wedding vibes with their outfits. They exchanged the most romantic vows, following by heart-warming speeches my members of the two families, wrapping up as Aryaendra soulfully sang through an unplugged performance. A perfect finale to a wedding that had been coming for what felt like eternity, the night closed in as both the families and friends of the duo joined in to sing their most loved songs."
