Well, if you haven't noticed already, we were part of the contest that ran a while ago called #WMGIsaidyes where 5 sweet couples win 5 dreamy pre-wedding shoots. And now, our second shoot with Sam & Ekta of Sonder Frames just happened with the cutest couple called Rushabh & Rushika who won the contest. Even their names look like they matched to perfection, isn't it?
The theme was "Lost in the Woods", a kind of scene where the two lovers elope to a beautiful space and find each other at their most intimate moment. Here are the pictures guys - at a beach, in the woods and with a sunset in tow. Mumbai based photographers Sam & Ekta - Sonder Frames do know how to focus on the couple and let the pictures do all the talking. :)
Meet Rushabh & Rushika, The couple:
"From the moment, I saw her for the first time, I knew she was the one! And, I am so thankful to god that she felt the same! :) This has been our story. Love at first sight and then love at each sighting! ;) Rushika found out about the contest from a friend and excitedly entered the contest with our most beloved picture where she happily accepted my proposal onboard a yacht with the Golden gate bridge in the backdrop. And, I am so glad by the fact that so many people liked that picture that we ended up winning the contest!
From the moment, Sam & Ekta contacted us, they were eager to know our story, where we come from and our ideas about the shoot. We even had a Facetime session when they were in Seattle. They were super excited with all the different ideas/themes, dresses and locations and so on. After a nice discussion, we zeroed in on the dress, picturesque Ritz Carlton Resort located along the Pacific Coast.
On the day, we picked them up from their hotel, and they immediately started thinking about pictures and how to bring our elopement concept to life. As soon as we reached Ritz Carlton, we were told to just feel the feeling of running away from everything and being with each other and that brought all the smiles around. There were so many moments where we didn't even know that the photos were being clicked," says Rushabh.
"One particular moment I remember is when we were at the beach and the sun was about to set, Sam asked Rushika to enjoy splashing the water around while I was just reminiscing the moment and in that Sam clicked a picture perfect where Rushika is splashing the water which is tearing into two right at her toe and Ekta took a snap of me happily noticing that. Also, there was another shot where I wanted to a typical Bollywood pose but sun was setting in quick so I had to quickly lift Rushika and get that perfect pose right in time for Sam & Ekta to capture and I was so happy that they clicked it perfectly.
All in all, It was a bliss to shoot with Sam & Ekta and we made a ton of memories to cherish for a lifetime," adds Rushabh.
