BY Sakshi | 19 Oct, 2020 | 11279 views | 3 min read

Bold is back! Yep, after pastels outsmarted bold colours in the past few years, looks like it's going to be back to square one pretty soon- well, at least that's what the forecast is! We are going to tell you all about trending wedding colors for 2021, which are bound to inspire your colour palette selection if you have an upcoming wedding. These are the colours which are going to be all over International weddings as per industry experts, and if you're wondering what are the colours for 2021, let's dive right in to it, as well as tell you how to incorporate and use them in your wedding.

Yup, that's what's going to dominate weddings internationally in 2021!We're talking bright pink, reds, yellows, cobalt blue - but instead of using just one colour, it'll be a combination of them which will be in vogue. It'll be a palette which is bold and non-traditional. These aren't subtle colours, so we'd say they are perfect for the decor on the mehendi, sangeet, pool party, wedding stationery and some of your outfits like the mehendi or brunch one!

Papaya Orange

First it was Living Coral, then tangerine and now papaya orange seems to be the colour everyone will love in 2021. It's not as bold as those shades, making it easier to incorporate into the wedding- a lehenga in this shade will look amazing too! It looks amazing with other bright hues like magenta and turquoise as a colour combination theme, or it can be used it as an accent colour for an earthy palette. Lots of ways to incorporate this one!

Lilac & Lavender

We're spotting more and more shades of purples at weddings, and personally, it's a shade we absolutely adore. The projected trend for 2021 is not to use purples alone, but with other shades like pale yellow, bubblegum pink, powder blue and mint green! Not a unicorn palette, but more like a pastel rainbow. You can try this palette with the decor or outfits or even the cake in just about any wedding function, and even using lavender or lilac flowers can make the decor stand out and how!

Light Blue

The one pastel shade which is going to be trending in 2021? Light blue! Think Periwinkle, Powder Blue, Cornflower and of course Baby Blue. It is one of the easiest colours to incorporate into weddings, right from outfits to decor and even jewellery! But the catch here is, unlike pairing it with other pastel and light shades, pairing light blue with contrasting darker shades of blue or even rich colours like burgundy, rust and orange is what is going to be trending!

Sage Green

Expect to see green all over in 2021, and why not? We've been seeing more of it thanks to the tropical theme, and it has such amazing shades to boast of! In 2021, it's going to be offbeat shades of green like olive, avocado, matcha that are going to be trending. You can pick an outfit in green, use botanicals in decor, and even serve pretty green food and drinks at your wedding!

So, figured what are the colours for 2021? The wedding colour trends for 2021 seem exciting, and we just can't wait!
