The Prettiest Udaipur Wedding With A Stunner Bride & Zodiac Inspired Decor!

BY Sakshi | 29 May, 2024 | 1337 views | 8 min read

Now here is a wedding which is so dreamy, that each and every function gave us major FOMO. Anukrit and Shubham's Udaipur wedding was as full of all things gorgeous, and has major inspiration in every way. From the stunning decor to the bride's perfect sartorial choices, this wedding has our heart. What was interesting though was how every event had a thoughtful theme, and the zodiac themed sundowner engagement was definitely very unique! The bride's Hindu ceremony outfit was offbeat yet glam too- a mermaid lehenga which went perfectly with their Arabian inspired theme- take a look at this gorgeous wedding!

Meet Anukrit and Shubham

"We were school sweethearts. Dated for 9 years from 2014 to 2023", the bride tells us.

Engagement

Sundowner, the sangeet night had the theme of Birds in Paradise. How two love birds are in their own paradise dancing. I requested my wedding decorators to build a water fountain anywhere in the function. The decor had greens everywhere with hanging birds and they managed to build a water fountain too. Greens connects Sagittarius and the water connects Aquarius.

Sangeet

Anand Karaj

Anant Karaj was a fairyland, pure and simple. Pastel colors, pleasant air blowing, sunshine peeking through the top ruffles of the fabric. It was so lovely! With this one, I am using less words but feeling more.

Hindu Wedding

Not to be overlooked was the Hindu wedding. This included an Arabic pattern mixed with Indian tradition. We desired it to be pure white. The decor, which went well with our clothes, had an Arabic feel to it. My lehnga resembled with a Moroccan twist. This one was supposed to be as pure as white, as romantic as romantic poetry, and as fragrant as mogra flowers.

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on September 21, 2023. Our goal was for it to have a fairytale vibe. For nine years, we have dreamed of this day. For us, getting married was nothing less than a dream come true. Though the themes vary from function to function, they were all created for and by us. The engagement included a Zodiac theme, when two sun signs unite to form a single zodiac. We are both interested in astronomy and the ways that the universe and humankind are related through science. That is how I thought of the hashtag #AQUATTARIUS [Aqua-tair-ee-uhs] (noun.) A half-human, half-horse archer who builds a bridge between earth and heaven, and a water-carrier carrying a water vessel and allowing the water to flow freely from it. I wrote this explanation myself.

Vendor Reviews

Venue: Raffles, Udaipur

Because of the property's splendor, the location was exceptionally lovely in and of itself. The goal of the decor was to use the property's natural beauty while keeping it simple. The services are excellent! Particularly, the food that was served at our wedding was excellent. Every single one of our guests complimented and loved it.

Makeup Artist: Chinar Khatri

Chinar is a young and beautiful makeup artist. She’s polite, sweet and very patient artist. A bride is always so stressed that she needs people around her like Chinar as Bride spends her relaxing time with her makeup artist the most. Chinar’s makeup skills are brilliant, light, smooth and not at all cakey base. She keeps your natural features as it is and just highlight them beautifully and effortlessly.

Wedding Planning: Baraati Inc

Shweta genuinely took the time to get to know me and my husband. So much so that when I went to show her my “ideal” theme, she showed me a design templates for our wedding stationery because she knew I would love it. At that moment, I knew I was in great hands. It was EXACTLY what I wanted and I didn’t even know it!! I had the opportunity to give my input and make decisions but she did all of the hard work and follow through!

Photography: CineLove Productions

Sagar Kumar, the master of CineLove Productions, is the loveliest and most stylish person alive. Sagar and the CineLove team both have a strong sense of passion for what they do. They have original ideas for exquisitely capturing each occasion. The photographer is not serious; rather, they are part of your fun, and the team is highly inventive in capturing such moments. The best approach to record without making people feel uncomfortable. The most amiable and skilled photographers ever!

Decor: The Elephant Ride

Working with Meghna and Shrish is an absolute must if you are planning your wedding decor. They are absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The dedication, attention to detail, years of experience and “know how” to get things done was perfect for what we were looking for. We are sure that we speak for many when we say that THE ELEPHANT RIDE really works wonders. They made everything perfect. From beginning to end, everything just fell into place so elegantly. They really lifts the weight off your shoulders and makes you feel so comfortable during the entire process leading up to your wedding day. Believe me when I say they will go above and beyond for you!

Bridal Outfits:

I chose all my favourite designers. Engagement was Gaurav Gupta, Sundowner Sangeet was Papa Don’t Preach, Anant Karaj was Rimple and Harpreet and Hindu Wedding was Papa Don’t Preach. I had a lovely wedding shopping experience with all. It was the easiest shopping I have ever done. Didn’t have to take many trials with any. All three sales team made sure I get my choice and as perfect as possible. I didn’t get any chance to panic for any delivery too. Loved them all!

Shubham wore almost the same designers as mine. Engagement was from Gaurav Gupta, Sundown Sangeet from Papa Don’t Preach, Anant Karaj from Qbik and Hindu Wedding from Papa Don’t Preach. The review is as same mine as I was the only one coordinating and customising according to his wants.

Mehendi Artist: Sona Mistry

Sona is a very kind human and passionate about her work. The designs she makes on the spot and the way she starts the Mehndi, making lines to make sure both hands are same in design and design measurements. Her team is very sweet and quick too! Sona has the best stable hand that too while making the finest and thinnest design. I would recommend her for all the bride.

Bridal Jewellery:

Joules by Radhika: Radhika deals everything online on WhatApp or Website. I was dicey about the quality but they have a great solution for the same. Loved the way she customised each and every jewellery with me on a video call. They have very reasonable prices too.

Durga Das Seth, Amritsar: Pankaj Ji is the most kind and sweetest person. I have given him the most complicated designs but love how He took it as challenge and customised everything for me. He is the most patient jeweller I have seen. I would recommend him for any jewellery from the most modern to the most traditional.

Outhouse: Outhouse jewellery is chique and unique. I was very sure from the start for Outhouse. The jewellery is expensive but worth it. Every stone, shine and design is marvellous. It was again my dream which came true.

Papa Don’t Preach has the cutest and lightest kaleeras. I couldn’t stop myself to not buy them.

Raabta by Rahul: Got my chuda and kaleeras from him. They have loads have colours for the chura and beautiful collection for the kaleeras. The baby pink chuda of mine was the perfect pink I wanted. It was soft and very comfortable. No allergic reactions.
