With Valentines day around the corner, the theme for February is...you guessed it...Love. And while Indian weddings may be fun , fabulous and crazy they can fall behind in the romance department , and sometimes you can lose sight of you as a couple in your big fat Indian wedding. These neat ideas ensure the world knows you for who you are and not just the fabulous party you threw on your wedding day.

1. Get your rings engraved with a line that the other can read only on the day of the engagement. The beautiful engagement featured here had the couples both taking their rings and getting them engraved seperately. The irony- both of them ended up having the same line on the rings: My precious from Lord of the Rings. If that is not enough to give you goosebumps I dont know what is! 2. Make a 'walk our story' path : Make a trail in your venue where the guests can walk and see the story of you and your husband in pictures as they walk along. You can put your baby photos on the first tree, the photo of you in college in the second and then couple photos as you move forward. 3. Have petal cones kept on each chair around the feras. Have them shower you with little petals in blush, white and rose. 4. Have a 'ring for a kiss ' bell: May be too risque for some Indian families, but hey a peck on the cheek never hurts anyone. The person who rings the bell has to be given a kiss. Think mistletoe for wedding- hang it on your cocktail, your youngsters or your engagement.Wedding coming soon. Photo by Morvi Images
5. Use the letters LOVE in your decor: This mehendi above incorporated the word LOVE into their mehendi decor. Absolutely beautiful photo op, and a detail others would notice. This wedding coming soon on WMG!From the wedding: Tania and Viraj. Photo by Silhouette Events
6. Put a love quote as a table centerpiece: Play with different quotes for different tables. We know we know, we are obsessed with this centerpiece but hey its stunning. 7. Incorporate your proposal into your Mehendi: How amazing is this mehendi design? The artist Saras Henna (based in Dubai) recreated a scene in Paris where the groom went down on one knee. Top (actual photo), Bottom (recreation) 8. Put your love story on a board: Have a great story of your relationship as a couple? Display it on a board at the entrance or have the importante dates in your relationships displayed near the mandap or on table runners
