Alright then, how different could a Mandap be? Four pillars, flowers and a pandit ji inside right? Well, all the amazing real wedding stories we featured in 2014 had some pretty unique spins on their mandaps. Infact if you head on over to our Decor Gallery, you are going to be flooded with images of fun, quirky, elegant and downright classy decor ! And since the wedding rituals really take place in that four pillared structure called the Mandap, we thought we would touch upon this a little bit!
Theatre style Mandap Seating. From the wedding: Neemrana wedding which gave back to society. Photography: Ravneet Puri. Design & Decor: Bride herself.
Not only was the historic setting incredibly beautiful, but the bride elevated it a notch higher with cushions in various hues of pink. The mix match of prints, the complementary colors and the minimal decor set off the surroundings beautifully and as the sun went down we can imagine just how stunning this wedding would have been.

Silhouette created this structure inside a pool! The close family sat on the seating around the mandap with an almost floating feel and in the middle of the night, under the stars having a mandap in the middle of a pool is stunning

Absolutely LOVED this simple, elegant mandap with yellow genda flowers as curtains, hot pink cushions and mint green bolsters. The bronze colored chairs added to the charm. Great color combination.
