It goes without saying that when a designer like Tarun Tahiliani has a wedding in his family, the outfits are going to be fabulous. But we loved how the wedding had that and so much more! It was a small, intimate affair at the bride Ananya's home with just near and dear ones in attendance. The wedding looked so breezy and modern, that we are in love with the simplicity of it all. It looked like a celebration of love, and it was endearing to know that the parents planned it all! If a home wedding is what you want to have, then take inspiration from this modern wedding!
Meet Ananya and Jahan
His childhood friend was marrying my childhood friend and we met at their wedding. We went on our first date two months after and our second date was the very next day. We just knew from the first time we spoke and 2.5 years later he proposed.

Reception
From The Bride:
22.2.22. Our wedding was small and intimate with just 60 of our closest friends and family. It was in the day and the weather was perfect. We had all our favorite foods and danced away with our loved ones to a day filled with love and joy. The style was simple but detailed and pastel colors since it was a day wedding. Lots of fresh flowers to decorate the space. There were pichwais hanging on the walls and my lehenga was also a pichwai piece. It was perfect.
The wedding happened at my home. The place I grew up, which made it even more special. The wedding was planned by our parents! They were probably more excited than we were and planned the whole thing themselves. The decor was also done by our families. Lots of fresh flowers, pichwais hanging.

Vendor Reviews
Photography
House on the clouds (Wedding). They captured the ceremony beautifully and the lighting on their images was so romantic. They did a good job capturing the mood and emotions of the day.
Cory Goldberg took the photos for the mehendi, cocktail and reception and did a great job at capturing emotions.
Makeup Artist
Jasmeet Kapany. She was amazing and gave me a very natural look with minimal makeup which is what I had requested.
Bridal Outfit
I wore a pichwai lehenga for my wedding. A red zari traditional lehenga for my mehendi with a more modern draped top to balance the look. An Ellie Saab white gown for my cocktail. And a bloom lehenga embroidered with tons of small flowers for my reception. All outfits except the cocktail outfit which was western were made by my father-in-law, Tarun Tahiliani, and that just made it even more special.
Groomwear
The groom wore his father's designs on all functions. He wore an ivory chikan kurta for wedding, Blue linen draped kurta for mehendi, Blue bandhgala and trousers for sangeet, jade sherwani for the reception.
