Meet Shagun and Rakshay
Shagun recounts "Rakshay and I met a few years ago at a friends party, and hit it off. We became friends instantly, but love only emerged 2 years later. Another two years on, Rakshay proposed"
That lehenga- cuteness overload.
The Sangeet
The Wedding
From the bride: Rakshay and I were a very hands on couple , right from designing the cards to the cocktails to the food etc. All the drinks were done by PCO so we had special cocktails made by us. We also had a separate 'Infusion Lab' where guests could go and make their own cocktails with various ingredients.
For my wedding I had always wanted to use the chairs that my parents used during their pheras. My mom had these beautiful antique hand carved chairs which she has had in her family for years. They went perfectly with the decor and setting and had so much more value to it. We wanted all our guests to enjoy and actually use the wedding favors we gave. My husband runs a bar called PCO in Delhi which is known for its cocktails and a privates members club called ATM. Hence along with the invites we gave pre-bottled Old Fashioned cocktails from PCO and Madeleines from ATM. And for my card I added cake jars, traditional Panjeeri from Punjab and Spiced Mango Chutney.Vendors: Venues : Mehendi at Amaara, Sangeet and Wedding at Amaanta| Photography: Morvi Images | Bridal Outfits : Mehendi and Sangeet lehenga by Vaarha Designs (studio owned by bride herself : 9811577117)| Grooms : Mehendi outfit from Vaahra, Sangeet from Raghavendra Rathore, Sherwani from Shantanu Nikhil | Jewellery: Veeni Jewellers and Shri Ram Hari Ram Jewellers | Decor: Kashmir Flower house and Q Events | Makeup Artist: Pooja and Misha| Invitations: Arya Nerker Designs (See these on the full gallery)
