Stunning Delhi Wedding With A Bride In Bright Red!

Don't we always love a pastel lehenga by Anushree Reddy? And this Delhi bride wears it with panache. This wedding has a lot of things going for it - from a chaddar made with tassles for the post phera shots to the pretty marigold Mehendi decor. The bride's red lehenga is such a fusion outfit with a Telugu waistband in gold to adorn it - such a nice way to bridge the north and the south. The venues Officers' Mess Air Force Station and the Air Force Auditorium are perfect for this intimate gathering while photography by ShutterInk Photography took the pictures to another level.

"We met when I got transferred to Bangalore for work, and he had been living there for a few years, so he helped me settle in. And the rest they say is history," adds Akriti.

The Wedding
From The Bride:
Since I'm from Delhi and Chetan is from Hyderabad, we did at first consider getting married somewhere neutral like Bangalore. But eventually, we decided to go for a big, fat Delhi wedding. We started with a Rajasthani-themed Mehendi at home, which was a sundowner event, and we were joined by close friends and family.
The next evening was the Sangeet, which was a fun event designed to break the ice between the two families over cocktails, dance and more cocktails. The wedding was a more traditional setting with decor in hues of gorgeous marigold orange and pink. To my outfit, I added the Telugu 'vaddanam' (Kamar bandh) which was gifted to me by Chetan's parents.
When we got to the task of choosing a photography company to cover the wedding, the list was fairly small. It started and ended with Shutterink. Professional, creative and passionate, they take pride in their work, which translates into gorgeous photos and beautifully compiled videos. All deliverables were provided in the promised timeline, which was one of my biggest concerns when choosing a photographer. Highly recommended!
Annalia Zhimomi, my makeup artist is extremely talented and easy to work with. She was able to understand the look I had in mind and worked effortlessly to create it. She convinced me that airbrush was the way to go, something I was a bit apprehensive about, but I'm so glad I listened to her!
Charu Kataria (CK Event Stylists) was our wedding planner and decor stylist, and she did such a beautiful job with all our events. Quick to understand our taste, she made each event different and beautiful in its own way.
As for my outfits, I got my cocktail outfit custom made from Anushree Reddy Design in Hyderabad, and I felt like a princess head to toe. The staff was very easy to work with and worked tirelessly to make sure I didn't need to fly into Hyderabad for more than one trial to get the perfect fit.
We got our cocktail cake from Jaya's Cakewalk, and the entire order was placed and delivery coordinated over one phone call. The gorgeous, handcrafted, edible golden elephants were my favorite!
