What happens when a Kannada actress meets a risk analyst with an Australian bank. Sparks fly thats what- and that meant a traditional Telugu ceremony in Bangalore. Filled with all kinds new designs using marigolds, this is one South wedding that's really traditional in each and every way. We are in love with the bride's beige and pink kanjeevaram and her beautiful temple jewellery. With lovely decor and planning by Bling Mushrooms , Photography by Manan Photography captured the love beautifully.
Meet Deepika & Sumanth
"The match was an arranged one. I had been getting proposals for a while, and when Sumanth's came along, my parents suggested that I consider it, as he was the son of my dad's friend. Since he lives in Australia, our initial interactions were over video, and he apparently thought that I was rather arrogant, while I found him cute. But then, slowly, we warmed up to each other and that there was a spark between us. I have found my dream man,' says Deepika.
The Mehendi
The Wedding
From The Bride:
"I have always wanted a themed south Indian wedding and ours was a traditional Telugu style, with orange, yellow, gold and off white being the colours we worked on. The haldi function was in a typical Punjabi style, while the cocktail party after the wedding had an English theme," says Deepika.
