Soulful Mumbai Wedding With A Radiant Bride In Fuchsia

Now here is a wedding that's just oozing joy! When we came across Shreya and Shravan's Mumbai wedding, one thing that instantly came to our attention were all the hearty smiles and pure love that resonated so well in the photos. The bride's look and outfits at every event was on point- right from her quirky mehendi lehenga (an event that happened at her childhood basketball court btw) to her monotone sangeet look, and of course, an absolute vision on her wedding day in fuchsia. The planning by The Wedding Ties was efficient and effective, bringing the couple's vision to reality for their dream wedding!
Meet Shreya and Shravan
We met on Bumble. We swiped during the 2nd wave of the pandemic (April 2021) and flouting restrictions decided to meet for a “coffee” drive (which is our thing now) and we had an instant connection. He proposed in the cutest way in March 2022 and we got married in Jan 2023.

Reception
From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on January 25, 2023. Being a designer I absolutely knew what I wanted for every event. Details are very important to me. Fresh pastel colours with flowers and soft touches. I had my wedding planned before I even knew who I was getting married to, the cute details made up our wedding. The little love note with wedding bells during our wedding pheras was a very personal touch. Also for me having the mehendi event in my building was very personal and important. It’s where I grew up and that basketball court is where I’ve spent my entire childhood. Every event decor was different yet outstandingly done Mehendi we had another decorator, and The Wedding Ties and the decorator together did a fab job converting my building basketball court to a boho mehendi venue!
About The WedMeGood App
I absolutely love the WedMeGood App! I used the planning feature to get an understanding of all that is needed to be done and the pleasure of ticking boxes! I used the e-card to make my save the dates. And I checked almost all linked vendors “real wedding” and reviews.
Vendor Reviews
Wedding Planning: The Wedding Ties
They the are gold standard! They came in after we had a bad experience with our previous planner, barely 2 months before the wedding. They not only saved my wedding but made it even better an experience. The wedding ties are brilliant at what they do, from planning to execution they are seamless, creative and above all they are genuinely involved and sincere. They helped my dream wedding come true! Chinmai and Pratik are the perfect duo leading the amazing team of Sagar, Hritik, Sid and Himanshu to name a few.
Venue: ITC Grand Maratha
The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the reason we chose it is it gives us flexibility to play with different venues for different functions for our staycation wedding! The garden for my pheras was the most important part in making the decision as I wanted an intimate set up for the wedding. The venue is royal, elegant and hospitality is unmatched. Also the best venue for wedding food!
Photography: Magic Motion Media
They are truly great at capturing the wedding. From candid shots to beautiful portraits they do a great job. The team is so warm and comfortable which makes the overall experience great!
Bridal Makeup Artists
Mehendi - Nilofer
She was the first artist I booked. I absolutely love everything she does and she is the best in this field. The warmest and most accommodating, she went out of her to help me find another make up artist as she was available for my dates and helped me throughout with tips and advice.
Sangeet/Wedding/Reception: Makeup by Anchal
She was just fabulous! She made me look like a dream and all my event looks were so well done and different. My wedding looks was even better than what I imagined and she is just such a warm and calming person. Would highly recommend her.
Decor: National Decorators
I was very certain about the decor and details I wanted. I made a wedding decor presentation myself and gave the planners and decorators. National decorators for ITC. National decorators are the best in the business and they have a legacy! What I loved about working with them is that went with my vision but made it better and grander!
Bridal Outfits
Mehendi: Papa Don’t Preach
I customised the colour combination of the outfit but Papa Don’t Preach is such a fun and perfect vibe for mehendi!
Sangeet: Sunaina Khera
I love her designs especially for a glam sangeet night! The deep Maroon colour is just wow! One of the reasons I flew down to Delhi.
Wedding: Anita Dongre
The dream lehenga! The bright pink and aqua green was just perfect and when I wore this after 15 Lehengas I knew this was it!
Reception: Gaurav Gupta
The champagne gown was a no brainer. No one does a better silhouette than him!
