Your bridesmaids have been your rock- you guys might not be able to catch up for cocktails as often as you might like, but we know how many hours a week you spend group calling each other. They might be the ones making you feel better if your wedding has been impacted by the pandemic (apart from bae of course), whether you've had to postpone, cancel or scale down your wedding. So here are some easy ways to appreciate them and show them some long distance love while social distancing, even if you are in the same city!

Do the same thing, just change the way!

If you always wanted to ask your bridesmaids formally (informally of course they know!) with a cute card and a favour box, then still go ahead with the plan! You can tie up with vendors who can curate your boxes for you and get them to add a cute card, or send them evites to be your bridesmaids! You could even consider going old school and sending them a personalised letter via snail mail- I mean, when was the last time any of us got a letter?

Check in with them first

Of course they know you're going through a lot of emotions, but check on them too- everyone is hit by the pandemic in some way or another, so don't be a bride in her own bubble- ask them how they're doing and share their worries too- don't keep cribbing to them about your own problems.

Make them a part of your wedding, no matter how small it is

If they can't fly down for it- designate a person to keep them on call and check on them. If they are in the same city, include them in your wedding in some way or another, no matter how big or small- after all, they're your special girls and have been waiting for your wedding too!

Tag them in social media posts

We know you want to tell the whole world who your husband is going to be along with all possible details about the wedding- tag your bridesmaids too and make them a part of the pre, post and the wedding excitement!

Make being your bridesmaid fun!

Have some virtual calls and gossip sessions amidst the planning and make it extra fun by sending them a bottle of bubbly to sip while doing it or send them the recipe of a signature drink you can all make and drink during the call! Or watch a wedding-related movie together while being on video call with a Netflix party!
