But Shivani and Bonish managed to plan their Jaipur wedding while being in NYC, and what a wedding it was! We met in college. We were best friends for years and then started dated. We dated for 7 years before we got married. We currently live in NYC.

We used to make wedding planning a lot of fun since we were based in NYC and were so far away from our families. We made a “Sunday park wedding planning picnic day” ritual where every Sunday we’d go to the park with a wedding planning agenda.
