Red Carpet Bride at Anita Dongre: Prints Charming!

A few weeks back we told you guys about our very exciting Red Carpet Bride feature at none other than the Anita Dongre store in Delhi. The stunning store in Emporio is gorgeous not just because of the drool worthy outfits, but also because the interiors could easily be mistaken for a movie set. With a stunning canvas to work with, we took 3 brides to be on a bridal shoot of a lifetime. In the first part of this 3 part series, we tell you all about our first brides experience! Meet Shilpa

A bride to be in 2016, she was super excited to be a part of the Anita Dongre shoot. A mehendi outfit is what we chose for her and this gorgeous printed lehenga fit her like a dream!

We all swooned over the unique print, and how the subtle embellishment on the blouse lifted it up.

Our makeup artist Deepti got to work, giving Shilpa a loose twisted braid and candy pink lips

From The Bride: While entering the store, I had my heart set on wearing a wedding outfit, but the minute I saw Anita Dongre's light and breezy Love Notes collection, I knew a Mehendi lehenga would be absolutely perfect. The entire collection was subtle, regal and youthful. In fact, the store itself is so stunning- with its blue painted walls and hot pink sofa sets that it looks like the perfect canvas. I wore the pink printed lehenga with gota patti embroidered waistband along with exquisite Jewellery by Pinkcity. I am a minimal person, and though I thought earrings would be enough, the team coaxed me to try on a gorgeous haath phool and a maang tikka to complete the look. When it came to my makeup and hair, I had some ideas in my head of how I wanted it to be like, and I showed a few reference pictures of messy braids to Deepti, and much to my delight the entire look came together perfectly.  After I was ready, Tarun was an absolute delight to work with. He made me comfortable, taught me some poses and I can't believe how stunning the photographs have turned out.
