Get all your outfits in place one week prior. Nobody has time for us after that! Jz joking! But legit get your outfits in place because one week prior to the wedding everyone loses their cool so it's chaos so if you want opinions or any changes, everything should close one week before the wedding!

Help your bride run things because all brides get overworked and stressed by the end of the day. Maintain a wedding planning checklist or use a digital tool to keep track of tasks, deadlines, and important details. This will help you stay organized, ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, and prevent last-minute stress. Have a WhatsApp group or a Google sheet between only you two which has all numbers and planning details.

As a wedding planning tip, the one tip I would give grooms to be is always keep 1-2 days between your cocktail party and your next event, especially a wedding. At least 1 day. If it's a destination wedding, have the cocktail night and then have the wedding the next evening, never the next morning. This is a very important wedding planning tip!

Make your boys work! My gang of guys were a huge asset to me during my wedding. All last-minute running – managing pagdi wale, driving grandmoms to the hotel, managing the bar issues – I enlisted them to help in everything and trust me my life was so much better so get help from your guy friends and do the same on their day for them!

Do something for you and your friends that doesn’t only include booze! While bridal showers and bachelor parties are common, consider organizing a groom-centric event with your close friends. It could be a golf outing, a sports activity, or like going to an arcade and going all out. This gives you a chance to bond with your friends and enjoy some quality time before the wedding.

Get two friends and ensure they don’t get drunk on your sangeet/cocktail night. These are going to be hard to find but you need at least 2 people to help you if you or your bride is hammered!

The one tip I would give grooms to be is that enjoy your own wedding. I was so busy doing all the running around that I did not get to enjoy anything while everyone else had a blast. So, I regret that. People will figure out what to do, and you enjoy your wedding!
