If only wishes were horses….brides would get on them and ride into the horizon in the arms of the man of their dreams. Well, that’s exactly what we asked brides today about - their long-forgotten wishes, their fun ideas and the wishes they had for their wedding. As we’ve tied up with Tata Capital this week on wedding loans, we’ve realised that more than a few of our folks (and us) do take wedding loans to realise precisely those dreams. And so, we asked 5 brides we know what they would wish see fulfilled at their wedding if they had taken a loan. But before you do that, check out this video by Wedding Loans by Tata Capital that makes us go awwww.

“If I could fulfill one wedding wish of mine, it would be to have a smaller, more intimate wedding (probably somewhere in the hills or on the beach at a destination that is stunning) and go for an extended honeymoon around the world probably lasting a couple of months!”
Sheena Agarwal
“If I could fulfill one wish of mine which I didn't, I would have definitely gone for a grand destination wedding at Udaipur... it's simply gorgeous to have one at a big Bollywood-type destination. And these Rajasthani weddings are so beautiful and picturesque”
Deepa Ranganathan
"If I had one wish for my wedding, it would be this. I would have signed on a Joseph Radhik or the Wedding Filmer to do my pictures and videos. Not that my pictures and my photographer wasn't great, they were amazing. But being shot by veterans and such big award-winning photographers is something else. Thankfully, I wouldn't have to cut down on ideas because of budget. Also, pictures last longer and my wedding is the only time I'll dress up to the nines and am allowed to do crazy over-the-top stuff”
Devika Malhotra
“I think I would have gotten a wedding planner. I was running around doing all the things myself that I don’t even remember meeting half of my guests! My family and friends pitched in but at my own wedding, I wanted to make sure that things were going perfectly. A wedding planner could have saved me all that trouble plus handled all my vendors. Because really, vendor co-ordination isn’t easy guys. You have to make sure that the décor is up on time, the photographer will be there to shoot your ‘getting ready’ part and that the food is hot enough and soooo much more. A wedding planner would have been a total blessing”
Neha Ahuja
“I would not change anything about my wedding, I got everything I wished for, really. But if there was one wish I wish I could have fulfilled, it would be to make my 2-day wedding affair, a 3-4 day affair. Because why not? All my friends and relatives were so sad about the fact that all the fun was over, a day extension with a nice party would be great”
