What's a wedding without some awesome music? And while the DJ and an essential playlist make it rock, a few of our blessed brides added in a band they liked to entertain their guests. Music is of course not an easy decision to make - every bride and groom want a different band, a different genre and have varied taste. So we asked a few brides we know to tell us which act got them all gooey. Take a look!
Deepthi & Avinash
"We chose the music ourselves and it was this amazing band called Krishna's Temple Rock, it was Carnatic jazz fusion, everyone loved it"
Vaidehi & Shreyas
"Kailash Kher took the night to another level with his mesmerising voice and ambience of the place just made it surreal. For the pheras, we invited Zuber Shaikh who regularly performs at JW Marriot Juhu, Mumbai to perform a Raag-based set. It was a band comprising of a Sitarist, Tabla player and Flute artist. They made the entire ceremony magical by creating the perfect harmony between the chanting and the classical music.
And for the Wedding Reception which was a floating one with no formal stage, we invited Nucleya to perform as a surprise artist."
Aakritti & Manav
"We had Suryaveer and Ehsaas, the Sufi band who played for us. We exchanged our rings under a tree decorated with lights in the middle of a lagoon (not really middle but almost beside) and Manav proposed to me with a beautiful poem.
Rohan & Roshni
"Guests were treated to music by singer Vidya Vox and Italian street food by Michelin starred chef, Tony Lococo - they had a fabulous time, it was great"
Tripthi & Anirudh
"We had this band called The Common Sense, you can look up Pratap ( +917208492063). It was amazing"
Sumedha & Ankit
"From the most famous Tarkash- the live sufi band playing at our sundowner Mehndi and to the fastest pianist of India, Mr. Aman Batla playing at our wedding we almost touched all genres that we could"
Mala & Praveen
"We had these amazing new guys called Bryden and Parth who were so so good. They played and all our guests enjoyed it immensely"
