Real Brides Reveal- The First Wedding Planning Task They Will Do After The Lockdown Is Over!

BY Apoorva | 04 Jun, 2020 | 1055 views | 4 min read

Wedding tasks have literally gone for a toss ever since we are in a lockdown. While some Wedding planning tasks you can do whilst in lockdown, some cannot be done without stepping out. And while we are all waiting for the situation to come under control and the crisis to be averted, we are also waiting for a time where everyone can step out of their houses and re-start life as it was. So we asked our beautiful brides-to-be who are currently quarantining about which wedding task they would tick off FIRST from their list of wedding planning tasks as soon as the lockdown got over. Here’s what they had to say!

Neha says

OMG, I don’t even know where to begin! But I think the one thing that has been on my mind all throughout the quarantine is my wedding blouse. I was due to get married at the end of May and my wedding blouse is with my designer who has been reassuring me through video calls that it’s ready and safe – but I just want to go and get that from her!

Deepshika says

There are so so many! I am due to get married in October but after deliberation with family and friends we have decided to push it to next year. While we have contacted some vendors via calls, some aren’t reachable so the first thing I will do from my wedding planning tasks is to get in touch and manage the postponement.

Taruna says

Get my bridal lehenga! I gave it for alterations in March and was supposed to get it back in March end but the lockdown disabled me to do that. I have been worrying and driving people mad in quarantine since I love love the outfit and I don’t want something to ruin it or for it to get lost. So after the lockdown has lifted, run to the store and get my hands on it.

Vishakha says

This is actually funny but wedding planning during lockdown has actually been beneficial. Me and my fiancé always wanted a small wedding but my parents dint agree as expected. But now with all the health hazards of a large wedding, they have given in to a smaller wedding. So one of the wedding tasks that I will do after the lockdown is lifted is cut my guest list short and plan a small intimate and classy wedding!

Kaveri says

Cancel my honeymoon! Our travel agent has been untraceable through mails and calls so physically going to his office is the one thing that I want to do. We planned for a lovely luxurious Bahamas honeymoon but that’s impossible now. So its sad but very important!

Yashika says

Changing my wedding venue! I am slated to get hitched in Goa in December but given Goa’s guidelines, I don’t think that’s happening. While cancellations are done, we are waiting to fix the venue and date after the lockdown is lifted so we have clarity on what all are the restrictions. So yes that’s the first task from my wedding tasks that I will want to do.

Paulomi says

Printing new wedding invitations! We have postponed our wedding and so cannot use the old cards. So the one thing that I want to get done from my list of wedding planning tasks is getting new wedding cards.

So what is that one wedding task that you will tick off your list once the lockdown is lifted?
