While corona wedding cancellations are a huge bummer, why not take this time to up your skin care game? So we decided to ask real brides on what was that one thing they did special as part of their bridal skincare routine. Apart from drinking water of course, because everyone knows that now!

Roopali says Eat Right
It’s important to pay attention to what you eat. Even when I used the most expensive serums, it dint make a change in my skin as compared to what happened when my sugar and junk food was deleted. I started having more fruits, dry fruits and juices which helped my skin a lot. I ate salads with cucumber, beetroot, tomato, carrot and steamed corn with black pepper everyday which is very nutritious and keeps your body detoxified which helps skin glow!
Pallavi says Go To A Dermat
I think the one thing I would recommend is going or consulting a dermatologist. A good dermatologist can tell you exactly what your problem is because that’s what my problem was that I couldn’t understand why my skin wasn’t clear and dull. My dermatologist did a blood test which helped to understand that low haemoglobin and other factors were the reason why. So I would recommend all brides to be to go to one!
Parita says Vitamin C is bae!
Add vitamin-C to your life! Whether in form of a cream, serum or your food, vitamin-C will brighten up your skin very nicely. You can have nimbu paani or eat amla or buy vitamin-c serum which will take away all dull and dead skin. Nimbu paani without sugar and salt is very good for your system cleansing also.

Mehak says be Patient and Consistent!
I would tell brides to be to be patient when using any new skin product. Any product takes 3 months to work so if you don’t see the effects in 2-3 weeks don’t be sad. Be consistent with it and it will help. Using the right products is very important. Don’t try anything new one month before the wedding. Use products that are tried by you before and work for you!
Karen says use an eye-cream!
Using an eye cream is so underrated! Dark circles are something that everyone faces but hardly people use eye creams. Using an eye cream that contains caffeine is important and something I learnt as a bride to be. Caffeine helps to diminish the appearance of dark circles as well as brighting and reducing puffiness.

Nidhi says research about skincare products
My suggestion would be to do research about skincare before buying any product. I have large pores because I used cream exfoliators which had beads in them. After I read about it I came to know that these tear your skin which is very bad. I then started using liquid exfoliators which are so much better plus take care of your skin. So if something is not working or harming you read and research about it.
Twinkle says double cleanse!
I would like to tell brides about a miracle system which is double cleansing! First wash your face with an oil-based cleanser, and then wash with a water based cleanser. So basically first use any makeup removing oil/cream to remove your makeup and then wash it with a facewash. This takes off all your makeup and your skin is very clean and then you can put your night cream before you sleep.
