Vibrant Destination Wedding With Stunning Decor & Gorgeous Outfits!

So many amazing outfits in one go and that too in a picturesque location like Srilanka, this wedding is #goals for us this week. Point to note is that, the bride is a bridal designer herself and her label Soumya Nandivada★ 4.5  is where all these amazing outfits came from. From the amazing temple jewellery on the kanjeevarams to the swishy georgette lehenga at the Mehendi and a host of sweet cocktail gowns, the bridal trousseau is a stunner. The venues, Avani Kalutara, Anantara Kalutara and Taj Westend were a riot and oh so beautiful. Meet Soumya & Gagan

"We were acquaintances to begin with and soon, it turned into love. We met 10 years ago in college, we had lots of common friends but didn't really know each other. After 3-4 years after we met through common friends again. Then he sent me a message on Instagram asking me out and I said yes! We dated for 2 years, he flew down to Paris when I was visiting and proposed to me in front of the Eiffel Tower! It's an Instagram love story," says Soumya.

We had a destination wedding in Sri Lanka, and we blew up the Instagram post he had proposed to me with and made a photobooth out of it! The location was perfect for us, it was a young wedding out of 250 people there were 150 youngsters- party wedding! We fell in the love with the location- one side is the lake, other side is the ocean and they meet! The hotel management were very supportive and let us do what we want! We decided to do it in Sri Lanka since it was closer to Bangalore than Thailand. We both love the beach and the vibe of the place!

The venue for the wedding was amazing- Mr Kavishan from Myna Group of Hotels was really great and helped us a lot. They were so supportive, more like family, went out of the way to help us and were so accommodating! Sri Lanka is not as sorted as Thailand for Indian destination weddings, but they really helped us to make sure we had a good time. They were a part of the party and it was as if we were having it in our hometown.
