Pretty Pastel Delhi Wedding With The Happiest Bridal Squad Entry!

BY Sakshi | 05 May, 2022 | 1678 views | 4 min read

These are the kind of love stories that make us all mushy inside! Another one of those by chance serendipity type meet-cutes, which really make you believe that they were meant to be! Neerpriya and Ankit met in college and dated for 5 long years before tying the knot, and their's was a wedding planned online during the pandemic! So many cute ideas in this pretty daytime Delhi wedding, and of course, a bridal lehenga we've been adoring! The photography by The Wedding Files★ 4.9 captured all the cuteness!

P.S. Just check out Neerpriya's bridal entry- if that's not goals, we don't know what is!

Meet Neerpriya and Ankit

It all started 5 years back at Neerpriya and Ankit's friend's birthday party. While Neerpriya was playing co-hostess at the party, she got introduced to Ankit! Realizing that they were from rival colleges (Hindu vs St. Stephens- Delhi University Folks would know), they bantered and danced all night. Never thinking that they would cross paths ever again after that night, they met again only after one day- all because Neerpriya left her keys! Well with their friend playing Cupid, the collection of those keys made them meet more often than they planned to, and as New Year of 2017 approached they decided to 'key' in the new year by 'locking' their relationship!

From The Bride:

Despite dating for 5 years, the wedding was planned in less than 6 months- and that too across two cities of London and Delhi. While I was in London and Ankit in Delhi, we both planned the wedding over several zoom calls- making it a true pandemic planned wedding. But ultimately the wedding turned out what we always wanted. And that was, to describe the wedding in 4 words: 3 Day Dance Party.

Vendor Reviews

Wedding Planning: Event Designers

I found this vendor via WedMeGood. Nishita and Sahil put up a lovely event- as per our taste and in our budget (a tough thing to achieve). While execution could have been better (more organized), the taste, decor, and output were on point. Thanks to them we could do a residential wedding in the heart of Lutyens Delhi at Claridge's, and it was a blast!

Residential Venue: Claridges

Absolutely LOVED the hotel. HUGE THANKS to Mr. Manjeet- it was only because of him that we decided to go ahead with the property and only because of him that all our guests and I could enjoy the wedding. If it wasn't for him, our experience would have been not the best. Mr. Manjeet stood firm on all the promises he made and executed brilliantly (despite many roadblocks other staff members created). With a gorgeous sundowner Mehendi done at the poolside and my dream Haldi in Sevilla- I couldn't have asked for a better property! Thanks to the Claridges team and Mr. Manjeet for making it memorable!

Makeup Artist: Pankhi Bhavnani

I also found her via WedMeGood. One of the best MUAs in the market. She understood my taste, the subtlety I needed and did an amazing job! I loved her work and how personable she was. Her suggestions were on point and also let me lead as well with whatever I wanted. Really liked her and would recommend her to other brides too!
