Whaaatt.. you're getting married post-Holi? Umm, nothing to worry about. And no, we don't expect you to sit at home and not celebrate it at all, but please keep it minimal. No matter how hard you try, the color does end up damaging your skin, and you'd definitely not want that amidst the crazy wedding prep. It's almost like inviting stress, to be precise!
So to help you curb all the vivid Holi colors (on your face), we decided to curate a list of post-Holi skincare tips! We hope these tips help and keep you skin healthy as you enjoy the festival to the fullest.

Olive Oil To The Rescue
Use olive oil to remove the excessive color. Massage it lightly on the skin and then, wipe it off with a wet cloth. Wash it with a mild face wash and make sure you gently scrub it to get rid of the more color. Thereafter, apply a moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated!
Use Ice To Cool It Out
Most of us play holi under the harsh sun and it ends up being sunburnt and extremely dry! Rub ice cubes over your face and neck, as it'll tighten up the pores and make your skin better-looking.
Ditch The Makeup
Come on, your skin has already been exposed to enough chemicals for you to even look at makeup! Keep the makeup at bay for at least a week after Holi! Give your skin some time to heal back and regain the lost moisture. So buh-bye MAC, Bobbi Brown and Lakme (for a few days) :P

Homemade Facepack Is Your BFFs
Time to pamper your skin! We all love homemade facepacks, don't we? They are not only soothing to the skin but pure and natural as well. Try a paste of -
- Gram flour + sweet oil + milk cream in rose water
- Or, Papaya + olive oil
The Magic Of Gel
Worried about the redness and irritation after the color removal? Fret not, use aloe vera gel or mild moisturizer to soothe the skin. Please visit the dermatologist if the allergic reaction persists!

No Wax, Please!
Waxing, bleach and facial after holi is a big NO-NO! Please skip it for a few weeks. It can further damage or dry up your skin.
In case you have a tried and tested remedy, apart from these, then don't forget to share it with us in the comments below.
Lastly, happy Holi! We hope this festival brings vibrant colors to your life.
