Playful Rajasthani Wedding With Bursts of Colour!

Pure Rajasthani fun - that's the reason we loved this wedding. It was unapologetically quirky with fun umbrellas, funky Mehendi decor, a kitschy pool party and a sophisticated English do and finally, a traditional and glam wedding. To weave so many ideas into one wedding is not easy but the bride and groom pulled it off with aplomb and managed to make us all smile. Happyframes was a beautiful addition to this picture-perfect wedding. Plus, the bride and groom designed their own outfits, how cool is that?

The Wedding
From The Bride: "We both are designers and in most cases too finicky and picky about everything. Hence, both of us were on our toes for months before the big day - making all our outfits, making our own shoes, designing the invites, making wedding favours, ideating themes for all functions, planning our function entries , ideating the decor ,dealing with the vendors etc etc. Most importantly we designed our wedding in a way so that we being the hosts enjoy our own wedding to the fullest, which usually is not the case" explains Apurva. "We developed two cartoon characters based on our looks-personalities, gave them an apt name (coy and quirky) and made them the face of our wedding. They were everywhere starting from our 'save the date', invites, events to our wedding favours. For our Mehendi, we went with the Rajasthan Ro Mela, a proper Rajasthani mela setup with authentic Rajasthani food, street hawker like servers, mela games like shooting, chair race, ring games ...etc to add the zing. Cocktails were one big dance party that came with a sophisticated English vibe with everyone dressed in formal gowns and tuxedos. The pool party had a carnival theme, dhol, pool games and lots of fun. The wedding was a very dreamy and traditional event with Kutle Khan performing live and breaking the stereotypical shy bride idea, the bridal entry had me dancing madly with my friends. Happy Frames Photography being my favourite vendor took our photo shoot and pre-wedding video to a whole new outstanding level. They worked more like friends than professionals with us " explains Apurva.
