Playful Goa Beach Wedding With A Touch Of Elegance!

A ton of things to Pinterest in this wedding - the baby pink choora peeking out from a black and white photograph, the stunning vintage nosering, the pink parasol under which the bride entered and the shimmery lehenga which perfectly complemented the seaside setting.  From beautiful floral decor to Pinterest-worthy after-shots, this was just so divine.  Photography by Karan Sidhu Photography was as picturesque as they can get and we loved the petal shower shots so much.

"We have always known each other. Our families go back a long way so we have grown up around one another (we even have baby pictures together). We reconnected on one of my visits to NY and fell in love over long conversations and fireball shots!" says Surabhi.

From The Bride:  "The only thing I had envisioned is a destination wedding with only people who mattered to us and everyone having a crazy time. The ceremony on the beach was breathtaking and my entry was spectacular. It was a dream wedding. I couldn't have asked for more. Every look of mine was carefully planned by my mother and me, from the outfit to the jewellery, to the footwear, makeup and hair. It was a dream to have Daniel Bauer to do my makeup and hair and somehow my mother and sister convinced him to come to Goa!" explains Surabhi.

"For the Mehendi, I wanted a crazy, colourful look to go with the vibrant, fun bohemian decor. So I did the blouse and dupatta myself and I converted a Manish Arora anarkali into a lehenga. The jewellery was picked up from various places to create a unique look.

 I designed my own chura outfit. I wanted to wear a bright yellow and my grandmoms old jewellery. My wedding was a classic gold sabyasachi with pastel dupattas. I always wanted to wear a matha patti and I never wanted to wear red! The jewellery was collected by my mom from various places. The brunch outfit was a classic anamika khanna Dhoti saree with a beautiful ruby diamond set from my mother in law" adds Surabhi.
