We love it when a wedding is not just about the couple but an entire experience for their guests involved. Here is a couple who went the extra mile to make sure the ice was broken and their guests had a ball of a time! Not only did Ruchika and Arun have a beautiful wedding in Italy with amazing Tuscan views, but we loved their idea of an informal pizza party to welcome their guests! And the decor at that event was definitely something we haven't seen before! Right from the tinned tomato jar centrepieces to the tomatoes being used everywhere for a pop of red! Their wedding looked like an effortlessly elegant affair, and we loved the bride's outfits, each matched to every function to absolute perfection.

From The Bride:
We started with a very informal welcome pizza party so our guests from both sides could meet each other! We had a sax player, live pizza cooking and bride's speech.
Next day we had our beautiful and minimalistic outdoor wedding to complement the amazing Tuscan views. We chose pastel colours for the decor and our outfits, and had a mandap with hanging pampas and greenery to match the scenery.
We wanted everything to be personalised and sentimental to us. Rather than buying new jewellery I wore my Dadi's jewellery that she wore to my mum's Arangetram as she was not able to make the wedding due to health conditions. We had handheld fans made for our guests because of the heat, and had them made by an all-women's craft community in India in order to support their cause, and had a gelato cart. We also had personalised cookies made for guests which were in the shapes of lehnega, kurta, ganesh and our initials. We then had the reception that evening which was a full Italian gala affair!

We wanted a photographer who could capture an Indian wedding but with an Italian backdrop and modern and western style. Gianni did exactly that! He listened to our vision and the style of photography we wanted, which was very natural photos with an airy and light tone to it, and he exceeded expectations. We couldn't recommend him enough!
Wedding Planner: @loveitalyweddings
Choosing a wedding planner was easy for us, we clicked with Emma from LoveItalyWeddings straight away. This was their first Indian wedding but Emma went above and beyond to prepare herself and her team. She had researched the different events and the ceremony before our meetings so she was always prepared and understood us and our vision. Emma's team also went beyond the usual wedding planning services and had designed and printed some of the wedding stationary for the events. They took on any challenge and ideas we threw at them and executed them to perfection.
Caterer: Delizia Ricevimenti @deliziaricevimenti
Delizia were the perfect caterers for our wedding. We decided not to have Indian food given it was a destination wedding in Italy so we wanted to serve Italian food for the events. We had live pizza show cooking for the welcome party, as well as a cold cuts corner and a cheese corner. For the wedding day lunch we had vegetarian food only with a mixture of salads, bruschettas and two different types of pasta, and for the wedding reception we had a four course Italian dinner, followed by live cake making. All of our guests told us how delicious the food was at each event and we were blown away by the quality of food served as well as the presentation.
