When you scroll through the photos, you'll assume that this a beautiful modern wedding. But we love how this couple kept their wedding so deeply rooted in tradition, making it more meaningful and doing away with rituals that they did not philosophically agree with. The picture-perfect couple complemented each other beautifully, and we loved the concept of a Fashion Week inspired event (that's where the couple met for the first time). Take a look at this stunning wedding, which wowed us from the get go.
Meet Devika and Sanjeet
Sanjeet a fashion model & hospitality & education related entrepreneur met Devika, fashion consultant and CEO of a marketing firm when latter was hosting a client's show at Lakme Fashion Week 2022. Who knew that cupid had a stall there among other designers?

From The Bride:
2 years later, we tied the Knot at Raffles resorts, Udaipur. Ours was an intercaste marriage following both Punjabi & Rajasthani rituals leaving out some we didn't believe in like "Kanyadaan" instead of which we did an ancestral giveaway calling it "Kulldaan" where we pray to our ancestors accepting their blessings in the change of families. We wanted to focus on our pheras, while keeping everyone engaged in our pandit's poetic descriptions of what pheras would mean in the modern era. As a bride, I decided to wear blue jewels honouring both our love and belief in lord Shiva and his wedding with second wife, Parvati that was the starting point of hindu pheras.
Our cocktail ceremony was inspired by our love for fashion week and decided to honour our first meeting engaging our guests by encouraging them to dress the part with us. Turned out to be the cutest little idea and everyone filled the ramp like no one's business, the night continued into a moonrise party leading us straight into our rituals.
The story goes on but here's a look into our little wedding celebration that would someday inspire future pinterest mood boards for desi weddings.
P.S. yes indeed that Rolls-Royce on the cover of KJO's Global Spa campaign was actually ours for the reception entry but proved to be an inspo :P
Vendor Reviews
Venue: Raffles, Udaipur
Extremely disappointing! The venue is not even safe and keeps cheap commissions from the vendors. Horrifying experience in everyway besides the fact that the property is pretty it has the most amounts of scams happening.
Wedding Planning: Bobby Yash Events
The best possible event planners, they took everything into consideration and delivered better than promised.

Amazing work! Amrit and his team got actual mood board shots that will someday be idealised by another bride and I hope they put their faith in TWF too cos they deliver!
