From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on September 24, 2023. We had a destination wedding in Jaipur, India. Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to get married in a palace and have a big fat tradition Punjabi wedding. Samrath and I both love dancing and bring a lot of energy so we both quite literally danced our hearts out during our wedding weekend. With regards to the decor or invites or stationary, and hospitality, we wanted every detail to be taken care. From the floral arrangements to interacting with hospitality, we wanted our guests to have experiences that they have never had at any other wedding. The cocktail and reception were meant to be very classy with special effects, floral grand floral arrangements, and the bar as a centerpiece. The haldi as yellow themed and meant to showcase different aspects of Jaipur culture but the event itself would be an authentic Punjabi style haldi. The Sufi night was meant to mimic Jodha Akbar and a mix between Punjabi and Pakistani culture vibes with a solo dance performance by the bride and fireworks right after! The Anand Karaj day I wanted pastel florals that made the venue look like fairy tale. Right after our Anand karaj after the entire ritual was completed, we had the DJ start a dance party where we also exchanged jaimalas. Our jootha chupai was a fun task or cash ceremony where Samrath completed a bunch of tasks to get his shoes back. We ended our amazing wedding weekend with a crazy reception and pajama themed after-party!
About The WedMeGood App
I did use the WMG App! It was very helpful for inspiration for decor and also hair/makeup/outfit inspiration!!
