A half saree or a langa voni is very similar to a lehenga. A skirt, a blouse and a dupatta. The skirt has a rich border and is made of silk. The blouse can be made heavy and you can add a contrast dupatta. The dupatta is draped on the same side as the regular saree. You can go for a silk with a thinner border dupatta or also choose a scalloped edge heavy work dupatta. Add a waist band of gold or a cloth belt which has motifs from the outfit and you have a perfect engagement outfit. You can always add can can to the skirt to add more volume.

Have you guys crushed over those heavy Gaurang Shah full length Anarkalis made of Kanjeevaram silk? Now how about that for your engagement? A perfect mix of tradition and trendy. Or even an ethnic gown with the rich Kanjeevaram silk and the heavy motifs and borders. You can pair this with antique gold jewelry or even temple jewelry and you are set to rock!

The skirt crop top fashion is here to stay. So why not try a south inspired full skirt with heavy zari and checks? Team it with a cropped blouse of silk. You can even customize this or get it stitched as per your choice even with a heavy single side border Kanjeevaram saree.
Set Mundu/Set saree

Do you remember the movie Aisha where Sonam Kapoor rocked the Mallu saree? Channel those vibes right away. A traditional choice for brides of Kerala a set mundu is a two piece saree that can be draped in a jiffy. If you are kind of unsure about the drape but totally cool with the combo go for the set saree. The same off white with gold in tissue or silk makes a very elegant choice. Designers like Poornima Indrajith have even lehengas in the same combo that is equally beautiful.
Another thing about these outfits is that you can make it as a part of your wedding guest look book! Try it out and let us know!
