Real Groom Gaurav shares,
"The white sauce pasta that we all eat and relish is not that difficult. Amidst the lockdown, you have a chance to do your bit and return the love which she pours daily in your meal.
Using wife’s help, chop veggies. Because you sure don’t want to cook pasta with one finger less in your hand. You can use veggies as per your preference. But pleaseeeee... no tomatoes in the white sauce pasta, I beg you! Saute veggies in hot oil and keep aside.
Now, the white sauce – this is the most important and attention worthy preparation which can either make or break you hope for being an in-house Gordan Ramsay.
Heat oil in a pan and add butter. Once it melts, add chopped garlic and saute till it turns golden brown in colour. Now, add 1 tablespoon flour and whisk. Keep whisking. Whisking is the key in making the white sauce. Once the sauce is made you would have probably done a proper arm workout. Lol.
Now, add 2 cups of milk….and WHISK. Ensure no lumps are formed. Once the paste thickens, add grated cheese and let it melt. . DO NOT STOP WHISKING!
Add salt and black pepper. Add boiled pasta and sauted veggies in the sauce. And then what you have in front of you is the most delicious and mehnat se bharpoor pasta! Serve hot and enjoy."

"Umm, so we both are complete beginners at cooking and given that we didn't have our house-help to cook for us in these times , we were left with no choice but to try our hands at it. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. We made burrito for breakfast one day which was super yum, and at the same time super easy to make. Here's how the recipe goes like:
We started with making 4-5 chapatis for our base. You can also use tortillas in case you have them saved in your fridge.
Next we moved on to preparing the filling for our burrito. We prepared scrambled eggs which had some onions, tomatoes and chillis tossed in it.
Once this was done, we added a generous amount of pasta sauce on each of the chapatis and then added the filling we had created. To make it more flavoursome, we grated cheese to it, added the necessary seasoning and rolled it up! And tada, it was ready!"

"We have been cooking day and night, in shifts these day. But this sunday was somehow special because we cooked together. We wanted to eat something sweet yet keep it healthy so we decided upon making mango yogurt granola bowl for ourselves. It was wholesome and super refresing. And here's how you can make it for yourself:
- Take one fully peeled mango (for two servings) and chop it using a blender.
- Once you get a puree like consistency, add a cup of yogurt to it and mix it well. We didn't add sugar to it since it was already very sweet because of the Mango. However, if you want to add some, you can.
- Now pour the mixture into your bowls and add some berries, dry fruits, chia seeds etc. on top. Your meal is sorted!"
Real Bride Medha shares,
"I and my husband just love momos. In fact, exploring the best momos spots together has been our jam since the time when we were just friends. We celebrated our fourth month anniversary last week. How? Well, we cooked momos at home together. And I must share, they turned out so good that we have already had three momos-cooking sessions since then.
We came across an easy recipe of wheat chicken momos. Here it goes:
- Take the regular wheat dough that you use for making chapatis.
- Pinch out tiny balls of the dough and roll it in thin sheets with rolling pin. Try to roll super-thin sheets.
- Apply some oil and then add one spoon of stuffing. Carefully seal the sides.
For the stuffing, we minced raw chicken in a blender. We then added chopped onions, green chillies, garlic, ginger to it. A bit of soy sauce and salt for taste. And that is it.
- Make sure you seal the momos tightly.
- Cook the momos in a steamer. You can even use idli-maker. Let the momos steam for around 10 minutes and voila, you are done.
- Relish with chilli garlic sauce."

Real Bride Gargi shares,
"Thought of sharing my recipe of "Banana Oatmeal Pancakes" that used to be a Sunday breakfast ritual, but since everyday feels like a holiday during this quarantine, the recipe is now a mainstay at my home.
What makes it even special is that the recipe is sugar free, very healthy and easy to make.
This is how me and my hubby go about making it; it's quick and filling:
- Oats flour and Almond flour (made by grinding them)
- Using mortar and pestel, grind cinnamon sticks. Add a generous amount of it and salt into the mix. One can add baking soda too (optional)
- Mash overripe bananas in other bowl. It's necessary for them to be overripe; it's where the sweetness will come from. (We aren't adding sugar)
- Add two eggs. Whisk your eggs in the same bowl where you added bananas.
- Lastly, add your flour mixture to the banana mix. Whisk real well.
- Now pour them on a non-stick tawa. Cook each side for 2 mins till it gets fluffy.
- Serve with butter /Hershey's syrup/ maple syrup on top.
This is now me and my hubby's no-brainer breakkie these days. It's a no fuss recipe made with simple kitchen ingredients.
PS: even my mom-in-law loves it and enjoys having it with Blueberry syrup."
Real Bride Tanvi shares,
I've never been into cooking, but it has been rightly said that you do everything for the person whom you love. I thought I would be a disaster in cooking until I realised that my new family is genuinely loving my recipes ( not just to make me happy?) So, I just love to cook for them especially my boyfriend like husband.? It makes me happy to make him his favorite snack. So here I share with you an easy recipe of his favorite dish i.e. a sandwich burger.
Ingredients Required:
1. Vegetable oil
2. Vegetable/ chicken patty
3. Dr. Oetker Funfoods Mayonnaise Burger
4. Dr. Oetker Funfoods Sandwich Spread
5. Burger Bun ( cut it into two halves)
Alternative: 2 white/ brown/ multigrain bread
6. Lettuce Leaf
7. Onion rings
8. Sliced Tomatoes
9. Lays ( Any flavor)
Preparation:
1. Heat the pan. Add a few drops of vegetable oil. Put the Vegetable/ Chicken patty on the heated pan and shallow fry it.
On cheat days, I fry the burger patty until it is light brown in color.
The simplest and healthiest alternative is to air fry it.
2. If burger buns are not available, bread slices are a great alternative. Heat 2 bread slices on pan nicely.
3. Spread 1 spoon burger mayonnaise on one side of the burger bun/bread slice and 1 spoon of sandwich spread on the other side of the bun/ bread slice.
4. On one side, place lettuce, onion rings followed by burger patty and tomato slices. Add a dollop of mayonnaise on the tomato slices. Place the broken lays pieces on the mayonnaise to give it a crazy crunch.
5. Top it up with other half of the bun/ bread slice.
Serve and make everyone happy."
