So you got the lehenga you were pining for and you look like a princess. But well, princesses need to pee too!! How in the world do you do it? That too, without help. Wow, see how smoothly we slid an uncomfortable problem in there. One which everyone wonders about but never talk about.
So one day, while generally doing timepass on our FB timelines we noted this really really cool story on this bridal invention, called the Bridal Buddy. Ooh, what is that about? It's a thing that allows you to take a bathroom break without making ALL your bridesmaids carry your lehenga and doing your business without wondering if you got water on the border. But as usual, as with all good things, this one is now only available in the USA at the moment. But really, we can ask that aunty who comes from Texas every year to get one for us - no problem! And first, how does this work?
It comes inside a cute pink bag, but is basically like a skirt slip that you wear inside. When you want to pee, the skirt becomes a bag and you gather your lehenga and push it inside it . And then you put your arms through the sleeves and sit back and relax.
It was invented by Heather Stenlake, a former bridal shop owner, who wondered why no one has thought of something to help the bride use the bathroom without getting her dress ruined or wet. The worst bit is having friends help you out in this intimate moment. This concoction costs $59.95 and is available in two sizes: short and tall.
Now, that was helpful. What do you think? Would you try it? Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts!
