We met over a decade ago at a firm we used to both work at. It’s been a journey of almost 2 decades. Life has come a full circle for us finally.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on 2nd & 3rd February 2023. We had something very minimalistic yet beautiful in mind. From having a bohemian sundowner sangeet to a mandap with origami and Japanese umbrellas for the bridal entry. We tried to match this closest to the kind of people we are.
The wedding shopping was a really fun experience, for all the bridal jewellery I made sure to have things which weren’t very traditional. Something that resonated with my personality from Meesho's quirky earrings to Amrapali statement jewellery. Everything was unconventional yet beautiful in its own artisanal ways.
About WedMeGood App
It’s literally is a one stop shop, you open the app and get everything you’re looking for. Since we decided on a very different approach for this wedding, we planned most of it in-house. However we always do take inspiration from all the content posted.
Vendor Reviews
Venue: Mercure Devaaya
An island wedding is what we wanted since we decided on going this and Mercure Devaaya was just the right fit. With the entire property looking like an old school Portugal colony to the impeccable service. The hotel was an excellent choice for us.
Makeup Artist: Eswar Log
Eswar log was literally the best choice. This being his 4th or so bridal experience he was absolutely amazing. The idea of having minimal makeup and keeping it really fit perfectly well with the kind of work he does. Otherwise being a fashion shoot expert he really got what I wanted on point.
Wedding Planning: Rigger House x Lateral Events
We run an experiential event company by the name of Rigger House in Mumbai and when the time came to work on our own wedding we collaborated with a friends company by the name of Lateral Events, since we’ve been looking for ways to explore an vertical with lateral it worked well for us to come together and put this entire wedding up. From the management planning stage right up till the execution we worked as one and seems like we made the right choices.
Photography: Abhijeet Dutta
Abhijeet Dutta has been an artist we’ve been in love with for a while. He has this sense of capturing the emotion in his photography and videography which was exactly what we were looking for. Something that keeps our memories artistically intact yet have all the warmth we felt during this entire journey.
Bridal Lehenga: Aisha Rao
The wedding outfit was by Aisha Rao, mountains and rivers being a big part of our journey the lehenga just fit right with a beautiful hand worked illustration of these alone with being a beautiful white it was everything I wanted.
Mehendi Artist: We collaborated with local indie artists for this one. Although the mehendi was sketched to perfection with all things that meant something to us. From bikes & mountains to palm trees. It was a little journey illustration through the travels of our relationship.
Groomwear:
The groom wore a brand called The Maroon Suit by Chandan Gandhi. He made sure to capture his personality in every outfit. Keeping his quirky fun self intact, he created every bespoke look with utmost detail and perfection. Ditching the regular shoes he also decided to do sneakers with his wedding outfit and bring in his baarat on a skate board
