A wedding that was full of love, laughter and sheer joy, Devika & Saurabh's nuptials were goals! The couple got hitched amongst the closest friends and family and it was a celebration of pure love! Captured beautifully by Weddings42fps, this Mumbai wedding was as minimal and intimate as it gets.
Meet Devika & Saurabh
We were both studying in Manipal, Karnataka, pursuing our masters back in 2012. We remained in touch and would speak to each other on and off even after we graduated, but we never ended up meeting as we were working in different cities, living our own lives. In 2019 we met after 5 years in Kerala for a common friends wedding. From then on things just changed, we grew closer, he moved to Bombay for work, so we ended up meeting more and spending more time together. A couple of months later we just knew that this was it for both of us, we decided to get married.

From The Bride:
We got hitched on 13th Sept 2020. Our parents met and everything was fixed in Feb 2020, just before the pandemic hit. So there were big plans for a big wedding in Kerala, followed by reception party in Bombay. But thanks to COVID, all our plans were squashed. We ended up having a very small, intimate wedding in Bombay, by the sea, surrounded by just close family and friends. In retrospect, I think we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding. It was perfect.
Vendor Reviews:
Venue & Decor: Kino Cottage, Versova, Mumbai.
I had been to Kino for my friend's wedding parties and I totally love the vibe and the view. When we knew we had to have a small scale event, there was no doubt in my mind. I knew I wanted it to be there. We got married when things were still all over the place, no clarity on how many people are allowed, what are the rules etc. But the Kino cottage people went out of their way to make sure we had the most memorable time ever! Kino cottage provides their own person for decor. Jeet looks after it. I cannot praise it enough. The garden over looking sea where we had the mandap was beyond beautiful. He followed my brief to the T and resulted in all our guests going gaga over the decor and the flowers.
Makeup Artist: Shamita Ghogia.
She did my best friend's make up just a year before and I was already convinced about her. But after meeting her I was totally reassured. She understood what I wanted perfectly, and made me feel most comfortable. I am not used to wearing too much makeup and have very sensitive skin. Shamita was a great support for me. Her calm and cool personality helped cool the nerves before I went out to get married :)

These guys did a fantastic job. We're both not great in front of the camera, can't pose to save our lives. But the pictures captured all the happy moments perfectly. Glad I agreed to do the candid film too, because came out really well, allowing us to relive those lovely moments again and again.
Caterers: Rajshekhar
Our caterers, Rajshekar, from Matunga ensured the food was awesome. We had a traditional sandya on the banana leaf and they did a fantastic job.
