Meet Max & Shaba
"We met at the University of Waterloo, as we both embarked on our undergraduate studies in the Environmental Engineering program in the Fall of 2007. We became friends almost right away and the five rigorous years of university brought us closer together as we shared experiences in the hardships and joys which a University degree brings with it. Our common interests and unique upbringing made us compatible for each other, despite our cultural differences. In the Fall of 2014, Max organized a trip to New York City, where he proposed with his grandmother's engagement ring! Being huge fans of the hit TV series ‘Friends’ it was the perfect location and the perfect proposal. We are looking forward to tying the knot in a big fat Indian wedding in Jaipur early next year," says Shaba with a smile on her face!
From The Bride
"We met Abhimanyu of Going Bananas Photography through a close friend and enjoyed a few summer BBQ’s together in Toronto. We also spent a memorable evening star-gazing and taking pictures of galaxies into the wee hours of the morning! He showed great patience in helping us set up the event, from advising on locations to helping pick out our outfits for each location. Throughout the shoot, his pure energy and clear joy in his work made us enjoy every minute of it and made time fly-by seamlessly. He did a great job at pushing us out of our comfort zones just enough to ensure we had a great shoot! All the smiles and laughs throughout the shoot were entirely genuine. He was an absolute treat to work with and we can’t wait to party together in Jaipur for the wedding!" explains Shaba.
