Ritu Kumar's Fall-Winter 2015 : It's All About Fitting Into The Family

BY The WMG Bride | 07 Aug, 2015 | 3582 views | 2 min read

It's a magical time for bridal wear. There are so many new ideas, campaigns and interesting silhouettes that we'd take that option of wearing every style and getting married again and again. Well, that is, if it's possible. This time, one of our favourite designers Ritu Kumar stepped out to talk about tradition and family in a campaign that made us so nostalgic! IMG_0130 IMG_0211 The new Festive Winter Campaign for 2015 started off with a beautifully crafted story that works around the festivities surrounding a 'Traditional Wedding'. It was a campaign conceptualized by Amrish Kumar and photographed by Farrokh Chothia at the stunning Sujan Singh Palace, Jaipur. RK-2 The interesting idea that this campaign puts forth is the way in which the most important women in the house keep up the tradition. Presented beautifully are the mother of the bride, the mother of groom and the bride and sister of the bride. Each has their part to play in the story and each stun us with their choice of Ritu Kumar outfits - ones that fit all generations like a glove. RK-1 The campaign showcases choreographer Vidyun Singh as the mother of the bride, a special appearance by Simar Duggal after a long hiatus as the groom's mother, Pooja Mor, the new New York sensation as the blushing bride and Mariette, a bright new face on the fashion scene as the young sister, the campaign brings together the vibrance and grandeur of a true 'Ritu Kumar' style wedding.

What do you love about the campaign? Tell us in the comments section!
