There is something about this wedding that just screams adorable. It could be the bride and groom who had eyes only for each other during the wedding, the intimate setting, the minimal mandap, the food truck or the fact that they chose to have their wedding in the woods! Nikita and Kunal's gorgeous Marathi wedding during the pandemic in Berkshire, US had so many ideas and a vibe be totally loved. This one was something literally straight out of the fairytales we have read as kids! Take a look at this rustic and dreamy wedding!

From The Couple:
It was our dream wedding that came out to be extra dreamy. Everything about the decor, the plan and the vendors selection was very personalized. The outdoor haldi by the pool lined with lanterns and a bonfire engagement was our day 1. Yes, we choose to have our ring ceremony by the bonfire! We loved the bistro string light to add to beautiful property.
The ceremony location was like a dream, one full of bright splashes of color with bohemian components! We walked through the short pathway from the property, lined with ivory pillar candles placed on tree stumps throughout the way to open up to a small, rustic almost like a fairytale wedding area with handmade rustic benches for the guests to sit and a beautiful wooden mandap, decorated with the greens and color pop flowers to complement the nature around.
We laid out bamboo fans on the benches for our guests to keep from the June summer heat, each tied with beautiful peach ribbon and pink flower to keep with the simplicity of the location and the decor. The tall tree whistling and bird chirping through the wedding was defiantly the most beautiful ceremony music we could have asked for and our Priest/MC took care of the rest. We had a lady priest and she was a Rockstar! She kept everyone engaged in the ceremony with her singing and explanation of the wedding verses in Hindi, English and Humor!!
We chose the modern upscale villa with an indoor-outdoor setting (the walls/sliding doors literally open-up like they were never there) to host the reception that comfortable accommodated our 70 guests plus the staff. We had a garden-party style table set up with summer flowers and candles outdoors and an indoor DJ-dance floor. The evening was equally dreamy with all our guests performing for us on our special day, open bar to loosen up, a beautiful dessert and coffee bar and an Indian street style Food Truck! The food truck was the highlight for sure. Ending the night with surprise sparkles from my sister in law with the cutest match-box she designed with mini figurines of us was delightful. It was our best day ever! Kunal's mom could not make it but she sent the marathi saree and handmade Mundavalya for the wedding all the way from India. Our lady priest kept the guests engaged throughout the ceremony, explained the meaning of each verse in English, Hindi and HUMOR for our guests, sang Hindi Bollywood songs to keep everyone entertained and kept the ceremony short simple and fun for the bride and the groom and our guest. She was the rockstar for the day! We hired a food truck for the reception with the indian street style menu and everyone loved it!
My favourite moment at the wedding was our dance and the walk through the pathway into the woods leading to our dreamy ceremony area. It was absolutely magical!
