When our common friend introduced us, we both didn't take it seriously. As she pushed us, we decided to give it a shot. After a few conversations our families met. Before making anything official we gave ourselves time to know each other. As the days passed we got comfortable with one another. He made everything look easy for me. Destiny worked its magic and we got married.

From The Bride:

I wanted a small intimate wedding. To which my husband suggested why don't we have a destination wedding. Luckily our families agreed. My dream of having a very simple serene wedding was fulfilled as we had our Anand Karaj on the lake side and it was so peaceful I could hear the peacocks and birds chirping. The breeze from lake and greenery of jungle was breathtaking. There was no loud music and the experience was almost meditative. The architecture made me feel regal. In a nutshell, my wedding was exactly what I dreamt of! P.S. - Some drama is an inevitable part of Indian weddings and nothing is perfect in life. Apparently, it's the small flaws which are later cherished! So just relax and live the present to the fullest!

Photographer

Simran is the best . No words can express my gratitude towards her work . I know nothing about getting photographed and was really worried. But Simran saved us as she is such a delight to work with. She and her team worked wonders they are so hardworking taking no breaks. The pictures and videos came out way better than I imagined. She made us so so comfortable that I don't remember putting any effort she aced it all by herself. Given a chance I would always choose her. She is my favourite and I would highly recommend her.

Venue

Gajner Palace of Gajner Bikaner is one of the most sought out heritage properties. Located on the shores of a lake and in proximity to the wildlife sanctuary. The food and accommodation is just perfect. It's natural beauty did not require a lot of decor, thus cutting cost on budget. I found no other palace which could provide such a varied setting from a jungle, to a lake, fort and wildlife. Overall, I just fell in love with the palace and the icing on the cake was it's my husband's go to palace since his childhood.

Decor

Our venue needed no decor. Thus we decided to keep it minimal and only went for decorations where Anand Karaj took place. It was composed of white fresh flowers and genda phool highlighted the courtyard area. Few Rajasthani decorations at lunch area. That was it, perfectly showcasing natural beauty of beautiful Gajner.

MUA

I did my own makeup for all my events as m a makeup artist by profession. After giving it a long thought I decided that I am the best choice as I knew exactly what I wanted. Adding to which I can work real quick and could pre decide my looks thus giving me a huge advantage apart from saving money.

Bridal Outfits

I chose the best- Rimple and Harpreet for both my engagement and wedding outfits. I absolutely loved my colorful and black sharara for my Shagan perfect for a night event. My lehenga was olive and red- perfect in every possible way! I just loved the flair and regal look it provided, which was just what I needed. Staff at Rimple and Harpreet was very cooperative and they delivered each outfit right on time. Trials and alterations were provided by them and every requirement was perfectly handled.

Groomwear

My husband's outfit was from JJ valaya who's work speaks volumes. The designer himself and his staff were very humble and welcoming. They recreated his outfit as per his requirements which turned out to be just perfect. They were open to alterations and delivery was on time. Just loved the way they handle their clients and provide a very comforting environment.
