Intimate weddings are here to stay, and why not? Specially when they look as pretty as Ritu & Avinash's celebrations! These two knew each other since childhood, and had decided on a big wedding towards the end of 2020! However, they ended up having an intimate one at Ritu's ancestral home and it was one of the most gorgeous celebration we've come across. The decor by With Love Nilma was jaw dropping beautiful, with the simplicity of marigold and opulence of exotic flowers combining seamlessly! Adding to the charm was Ritu, with her ethereal looks at each function! From the pastel hued lehenga on mehendi in a classic combination of yellow and pink, to the rich gold saree she adorned for the wedding, her looks were definitely awe-inspiring! Capturing the madness of this wedding was Ritu's sister Roma Ganesh Photography and the talented team of LightBucket Productions ! Scroll and see all the delightful details for yourself!

The Wedding
From The Bride:
We had planned a Big Fat December Wedding but unfortunately Avi's father was critically ill so we moved up our time line because his blessings and presence was more important. We planned the wedding in a very short span of time, amidst a pandemic which posed at being a bane but actually ended up being a boon for us. Now when I think of it, our wedding happened in the most perfect way possible. We had the most intimate wedding with just immediate family and friends in the backyard of my ancestral house. The home my grandparents built, the home my dad grew up in, the home my mother prays in, the home my sister and I were raised in. We were very fortunate to have had the wedding when we did as sadly Avi's father passed away 6 days after the wedding. It meant the world to us that he fought for his life to see us getting married.
Vendor Reviews:
Makeup Artist: Anurita Chandrappa.
Anu is like family to us. When she did the makeup for my sister's wedding, I was smitten by the looks she created. Her work is so neat that I would have hired her blindly even if I didn't know her personally (Fortunately we do :P). I kept pestering her with references months before the dates were even finalised. She kept all that in mind and completely outdid herself.
Photographers: Roma Ganesh Photography & Lightbucket Productions
Roma is my sister and hands down the best photographer! I would have wanted her to cover the entire event but since she had to be more involved in the wedding, she concentrated on predominantly couple and make up shots. So I had to search for another talent and came across Lightbucket Production and really liked their work and so they covered our other photography requirements.
Decor: With Love, Nilma, Mandala Decor
Nilma was my first choice when I decided to get married. I had been in love with her work for a long time. So we got in touch with her and from day one she was extremely professional. I used to send her references and text her probably more than Avi at the time :P. She worked around the concept of our house being a traditional antique South Indian Bungalow. We did not know what to expect from the references but the final result was magic. Me being a very particular person, her attention to detail allowed me to close my eyes and blindly trust her.
Apart from Nilma, we also had the Mandala Decor to do the lighting, chapra and certain areas of the house. They did a brilliant job as well.
