Intimate home functions are the new normal and coronial couples have embraced it with full vigour. We love seeing how they are taking it up a notch. Pooja and Chaitanya are one such couple. With gorgeous decor that was done with fresh flowers and green elements, and an intimate gathering consisiting of just their family, the couple exchanged rings.
We loved the vibe of this entire celebration. From Pooja's beautiful floral saree to Chaitanya's mehendi green ensemble, everything was as elegant as they come. Shot flawlessly by the The Cheesecake Project , this home engagement went straight to our inspiration mood boards.
Meet Pooja & Chaitanya
Chaitanya is my cousins school friend, so I’ve kind of known him since we were younger. We truly connected at the same cousins wedding, and were constantly in touch and through the years realised that we wanted to spend our lives with one another. If someone would have told us a decade ago that we’d end up together we would have had a good laugh. But I guess the universe has a way of shaping things and giving you a beautiful story at the end of it all
The Engagement
From The Bride:
We hosted a day engagement for our close family at home, and we wanted to keep it fresh, light and minimalist in terms of the overall vibe and be super comfortable and just enjoy the day.
Vendor Reviews:
Hairstylist: Anita Shil
We discussed the look beforehand and went for a half up half down style laced with delicate flowers and it turned out great.
Makeup Artist: Varsha Gidwani
She had done one of my close friends wedding makeup and I I’ve known ever since that I wanted her to be the one for me. Even though we met for the very first time on the day of the event it felt as if I’ve known her for years. The entire process was so easy as she understood what I wanted without me having to tell her. She even did my mums makeup and she looked stunning.
Photographer: The Cheesecake Project
They were the best decision we made. We never even considered anyone else because we knew we wanted them. It was a super easy and fun experience and at the end of the day we were left with beautiful photographs capturing our most precious moments 100/10 would recommend them :)
Bridal Outfit: Anita Dongre
I knew I wanted to wear a saree and picked one by Anita Dongre. keeping the time of the day and year in mind It was a beautiful springy floral printed beige number with sequins to add a touch of glam
